Default LS1 Chevelle vs **** talking Fox, on video

Same guy from this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/street-ra...1-run-fox.html

Basically he has claimed numerous times his car runs low 11s on motor and mine is a dog that shouldn't be out of the 13s.

Last night some stock/mild mustangs went out to play and we all went to watch them. Another guy wanted to see me run the fox, I thought he was full of **** so I said if he wants a race, turn the bottle off. Also stated I would run him on spray but it would be pointless.

He agreed and the flagger watched him kill the bottle. We line up and go. First race he lets out early, witnesses say his car was popping and making noise...they think he tried to spray with the bottle off once he saw I was going to rip him. 1 dirty win for me, this guy had it coming...he's never won a clean race but talks like he has.

Video 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SEz3cdTRg0

This guy who has said at least 3-4 times his **** can't hot lap wanted to run again.

I do a better burnout on the 325/50s and line up again. Same thing, I'm still not sticking and put a fender on him SPINNING and as soon as he sees he can't pull back/around he lets off again At least die with dignity.

Nice putting him in his place. Good runs and thanks for sharing the vids. Did you ever figure out what your new setup will be?

Today he gave me a little hope I've instilled some humility into him, he gave me props on our local forum.

Admitted my car runs strong and wants to try them again sometime on better pavement. (I spun all through first so I'm sure he did too)

Good runs!

It's important to know how to win, and how to lose.

I learned how to lose from Hammond.

Unless I come into some extra cash in the near future, just going to focus on porting the 799, milling .020-.030 and putting them on and tuning. Hoping I don't need injectors by that point.

If the car still doesn't run like I want with the heads, I can do a cam swap at a later point (hopefully by that point I could do rod bolts for a little more RPM).

I'm hoping between the ls6 port/chamber design, the porting, and the milling that after tuning I could see at least 35rwhp with the heads.

I am in the same boat as you-I want to do LS6 heads but afraid I need more injector with them and the new cam.

Nice kill

Cool to see an old chevelle still kicking a little *** in a world of mustangs, camaros, and vettes. Most muscle cars are not very impressive but when I see a fast one, it just warms me up inside!

Great kill! It's always a blast to beat up on a **** talker. It's even better when they chill out after the realize they were out of line.

On a side note, why does it seem like the bigger the tire it that someone uses, the less traction they have?

You never hear someone saying that their 245 or 275 drag radials went up in smoke, but if the first number on the tire width is a 3 then they apparently don't hook for anything.

Oh what the heck, I'll disagree just for giggles. My TA can't hook for **** on 245s - and that was with the old motor (325 HP SBC)

Looking getting whatever I can stuff into the wells to correct the issue. 295s or 315s, with mild massage work to the seat belt humps.

Awesome kill, by the way, Thunder. I love it when arrogance gets what it has coming.

My car wouldn't dead hook on 275/50 DR either haha, but they were Nittos. I'm not as impressed with the M/T as everyone else seems to be. They seem about the same to me, but are MUCH MUCH worse in rain and wear faster.

Usually on these if they are warm they will hold a little over half throttle hit, then stick WOT a few feet out, but it was a combination of shitty/dirty pavement and me trying to stick too much throttle too fast. Best 60ft at the track was a 1.77 so far. If I can get it to dead hook WOT I think I can pull a bottom 1.7 60ft on prepped track.

I was pulling on him spinning the first time anyway so the second I gave them some more heat and was hoping to stick even harder.

This video made me want to junk punch that Foxbody owner just for being a pansy.

I could care less how bad I'm losing. I'll still run it out because I like going fast

I think its hilarious if he was really trying to spray with the bottle closed... haha idiot
