that was one slow *** R1. Granted ALL Yamaha's are slow as hell in a drag race, but that was a pitiful example. That bike should be a low 9 second bike, and your truck is listed as a mid 12 second truck....

I was going to say that bike looked fast yet slow for his mods. Maybe it was windows up but its exhaust should have been louder..either way good run..

Did the bike shift early? seemed like his rpm's fell really low.

i agree that bike did seem slower than expected but he guy assured me everything was a 100%
and yes it does look like he fell short on his first shift from the start..guess that little loss of momentum was enough for me to keep up

With those mods he should be doing 140+ traps and walk you like you are standing still. Hell a stock race 600 would have done a better job

Soooo they were rolling at what speed? 11 seconds later he was doing 100mph... For that race to be anywhere near legitimate you woulda had to be doing about 150mph.

if you look at the distance he put on me..times that by 1.5 or so if we are speaking 1/4mile..as we started at 50mph..not 0mph..and another factor is that my 60ft is only 1.74..so if i were to cut a 1.5 or so then my truck would be a high 11sec truck..and this is with a 3.42 gear(ideal gear for that race, not the track as a 4.10 would put me at 6100rpms crossing the 1320mark as where the 3.42s only put me crossing at 5100)..a lot of factors in this race..such as me getting a great jump with my ss3600 stall and him shifting to early..this really isnt an unbelievable scene if you think about it

Bike was fucked up or the rider can't ride. And that's not an 11" stretch.

That looked more like a stock 600 that started a gear higher than he should have
