Might have to look into the '12, seems like a different car all around.

OK dude. It sounds like you didn't read my previous post? Nissan Covers launch control completely now. I even attached an article. Yes the GT-R is expensive to fix and maintain but they do cover all of the factory features currently.

As for prices on modifications. If you buy exhaust from Nismo (Nissan Aftermarket company) expect to pay an arm and a leg for parts. Mods are expensive but paying 8 grand for an exhaust is overpriced. AMS sells bolt on and tune kits that make 550awhp on pump gas/600+ awhp on race gas for 6 grand.

I know all this **** because I'm torn between a used GT-R or a used C6 Z06 as my next car.

The gearing for the GT-R keeps it constantly in powerband compared to the Z06 which has extremely long gears and two over drives, which the Z06 depends more on its displacement than its gearing. check this out, both cars are stock in this vidd:

The GT-R and ZO6 run same price range.

As for adding tires to the ZO6 that like putting a boost controller on the GT-R and turning it up some. GT-R with tune and cat back has went 10.0X.

You can get a new gtr for low 40s?

Hell, can you even get an older one for that?

Can you get a new ZO6 for low 40s? I didn't think so.

Also your going to fault a car for holding its value better...HAHA. I don't think its the GT-R's fault the ZO6 didn't hold its value as good.

New? No. Wasn't the 07 supposedly the fastest out of the newer years anyway?

I could care less which holds value better.. if I can get better performance for half the price, my *** is in It!

If that case just by a used ZX14.

Either way the GT-R is faster. But ya buy a used ZO6 throw a supercharger and find GT-R's to beat up on..lol

What i meant by that is, IF they didn't cover it, blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah...

I would defiantly pick a Z06 over a GTR any day, Z06's with 10-20k invested, and GTR's can enjoy a good view of those tailights!

Take the limiter off, it will clear 170mph.

I can tell you with the limiter off my '11 mustang GT reached least 165mph. LOL.

Very possible... I don't know exact numbers, just that it would definitely be 170mph+.

That's probably because he was at the track. typically voids any type of reimbursement if something breaks.
