Default my SS vs. Modded CBR 600 *vid*

I lost, but it was a good run, if I kept going I would have went around him on the big end since he ran out of gearing. Bike got about 2 cars on me.

I admit I don't know much about bikes except that they are fast. Seems you did a pretty good job keeping up with him.

yea I think he was 101whp bike from a stock 80 something whp. I'd beat a stock 600 or it would be very close. Thanks.

yea I actually put down slightly less power through my Moser 9"

390whp and 369 torque is my current power through the 9". This was a first gear pull run.

Don't know the year of the CBR. Track times are based off a 2.1 60 foot, so you get the idea lol.

If he put down 100rw, he should have pulled on you pretty hard. Would have took you around 130 to slow or stop his pull, he tops out not too much after that anyway.
That should be a 120-123mph bike easily.

yea his gearing is shortened up, his bike tops out at 130 and the top of 4th in my car is 130 ish. so you kinda see his bike hit a dead wall at the end and I start to pull in quicker.

He could lack some driving skills but he also gave me the hit off the start.

Well anyways the run is what it is.

Ah, very aggressive sprockets.

The hit means a everything, especially with a bike.

In all honesty, that's about right.. Good death/almost kill.

he has very short gearing, i think it tops out a little more then 130mph. It's set up for Drag racing. It is an older CBR... not sure how old.

With perfect conditions and a small rider it might hit 165-167mph. Add sprockets, not perfect conditions, and an average size man and that speed drops quite a bit.

Do you know what model cbr it is?

This

If that was a newish (around 2004+) then that rider didn't know what he was doing. Not taking anything away from your nice Camaro.

Edit: should have read more...forget what I said minus the nice camaro part.

Random bikes are the best kills. The look on their face when you start pulling is priceless. Everyone knows cars can't beat bikes.
Imo they are the best kills!

With the Mach 1 in my sig plus some 17" drag radials I held a new R6 off until mid 4th gear (100mph). He wasn't a bad rider I just don't think he understood how a geared Mach 1 with tires acts off the line.

Would have made for a hell of a video. It was just a random running into a guy on a blue R6 with the mohawk helmet mod. He messed with me from a roll and ofcourse I didn't bite. But when we came to a redlight I figured I would see how good of a rider he was. I don't think he was happy since after that he kept wanting his roll race.
