I was on my way home from a car meet in northern va when a white evo x pulled up next to me.. I was riding with the windows down and could hear him put the car in 3rd or 4th.. he then started taunting me taking short pulls and trying to make his exhaust pop by high revving. I am completely anti rice, so I gave dropped the v into 2nd gear @ 4000 rpm and gave him the thumbs up. He honked three times and off we went. From 2nd to 3rd he stuck with me, but @ maybe 3500 rpm in 3rd I was a car length on him.. 4th I was like 3 car lengths and by 5th it was like wtf. The moral of the story is... those evos arnt what they are cracked up to be

Didn't know his mods but it had a coffee can muffler on it.. it was a good case of puppy kickin but he asked for it lol and imo its rice because it was a japanese car with a kid driving it with more stickers than mods lol..

But not all EVO's are stock and are nothing to shake off. I have a few that I hang will that one gives ZO6's a run for money and the other Don't waste its time on ZO6's less they are full bolt ons or supercharged on the high way.

Good kill op and the guy was asking for it. Evo's are like fbodies. You never really know what the guy has until you are already in it. I know there is a local evo that will give my t/a a hard time once it's done.

I have, and it was about the same outcome as the highway pull babrown had... We had been running from a roll 2 or 3 times before we got to a stop sign.. 3 honks and he pulled a bumper til the middle of the intersection when I flew past him and proceeded to put busses on him... it was a local guy that I know who had been picking on all the local import cars (350Z's,Civics and so on)...

Why do constantly use the Z06 as your benchmark comparison car? They're not the fastest cars in the world you know.

Well the Z06 is what GM's best car for the buck. ANd More GM guys use it as bench mark then others. When some one beats a camaro or regular vette all that is said is well race a Z06 and see what happens.

they both trap over 135 and one traps over 145..Both on street tires same way run around. That make it better?

DO they make almost 700whp.600wtq We got two that do. Even a STI that is close to that mark.

The other don't make as much he right around 400whp.
