I'm running a Walbro 255lph. The pump is working fine, we bench tested it beforehand by giving it 12v and it flows excellent. I am almost positive it is the gauge because it reads like 11psi which I've been told isn't even enough to run at all, and it revs smoothly to 3k with a quick blip of the throttle, and when held at 3k it's fine and doesn't break up. Gauge shows no pressure change when blipping, raising rpm, or removing vacuum from regulator so it's pretty certain it is the gauge. New one is in the mail regardless because I discovered a small crack on the back of this one tonight!
Anxious as hell to drive it but the 10 inches of snow we just got means more time to tweak

The street outlaw guys are such *******. Twin turbo, back half big tire car vs stock suspension, small tire all motor car. The bbc nitrous car vs all motor bbc car. Scared to ******* lose. Claiming to have the fastest street raced cars when daddy daves truck got all the way fucked up in Chicago.

The 5.0 isn't that heavy at all. Especially in comparison to it's direct competitors. They're plenty fast for a car under 35k.
Now, I will have venture to guess the HP bump may not be "genuine". The current 5.0 seems to be underrated about 15-20HP. Which I am sure they know by now. I would believe it to be plausible that the HP will go unchanged, just be more accurately claimed.
I don't see how the 2015 is "all new". IRS and new fascias. That is my opinion I suppose.

Spectacular car snake! Any more details on the car? Cubic inch, transmission, rear end/gear. You said it's going to be a daily driver, any goal for it at the track?

Heads are the older AFR165s, if I had it down to a bare short block I would have went 185s, notched the pistons and bigger cam with a ported Holley Systemax 2 intake.
Intake piping is all made by me, maf housing modified by me, 80mm throttle body.
