As usual the slow people with no knowledge tend to drive the conversations on what the better motor is. Makes me lol.

LOL. You guys really think this section could handle discussions on bearing clearance, valve clearence, preload or anything else close? Hell no better off leaving that in the engine section. Some ppl in here can't grasp solder>than butt connectors. Can only imagine the miss information on engine building.

We are talking max effort setups. Not 700whp cars here. 1000whp+. 351w would not suffice gotta fill that sack of **** with cement if you plan on making 700whp anyways.

CALLED IT! We were on the way to the track yesterday and I told my buddy that one of the guys on this site got hammered and dropped the N-bomb for *****... .

He's like: "I believe it. So whadjudo?"

I'm like: Covered him like a classic in a hail-storm.

He's like: WHY? You shoulda lett'em twist.

I'm like: Well he used to have this nasty avatar, but recently changed it to some cerebral looking black dude... like Cuba Jr. Gooding in top-gun.

He's like... you suck.

Then I told him how I did it and he's like; I get that.

Then we drove along in silence, until we passed a Mustang and the conversation turned toward the natural revulsion of Fords.

Waiting for your car to get finished up

You missed the Shelby GT500 and CTS-V invitational (AKA The Texas Mile) this weekend. Your car would've done some damage there!

Truthfully, this word needs to dropped from the English language. It's an ignorant word no matter who uses it, it's not an endearing term no matter what, and the continuation of using it, sustains racist behavior both ways.

Good of you to apologize man, I'm sure your lesson is learned.

The LT1 is hands DOWN the best motor ... in my shop.

But that's largely due to the fact that the other two engines are a 3.4V6 and a Mercedes V8 from a 76 450SL.

So ... well, you know.

Yup ive never worked on any sbf ever, i just helped my friend build is turbo h/c/i t56d fox and drop the 302 out of that car to swap in the 351 which was cemented. I have no idea what a SBF even looks like.

Oh, ok automach. So does that mean you think the mod motor is better than the LS too, now? Because (using you guys' logic) the fastest version of the mod motor is well in the 6s using the factory (sleeved) block, factory head castings, and the factory (balanced) crank. So since it has the most factory parts of any engine at/near that level of performance, it must be the best design...that's what you're saying, right automach?

If your gonna even attempt to figure out which engine is best you have to drop the boost.......It HAS to breathe on it's own......preferably with oe parts IMO. Otherwise it's who sets on the 2step longer and builds the most boost.

Mod motor has gone faster with a turbo, LS has gone faster NA. So does that mean LS is a better design?

Stop being a ******* retard, what does anything i have said about a SBF have to do with a modular motor?

Talking engine superiority and better design i don't understand how talking about a turbo car is even valid. Especially being that it didn't come wit a turbo from factory.

You were talking about how much of the factory parts would be left at a certain power level. You said 700-800rwhp wasn't enough for you, so you bumped it to 1,000hp. So how about 2,000rwhp?

I was talking about the block, you moron.

700whp is nothing when talking an all out build, read the thread.
