FWIW if you are looking for a car that responds very well to mods, but doesn't lose any comfort look at the 335i's. Its so drastically different compared to any of the other v8 cars in your list. There are some nifty single turbo kits pushing well into the 600whp range while maintaining stock drivablility. It's a great sleeper especially if you keep the stock exhaust that flows really well.

I'm hooked on the platform. Such a nice refined car the 335i and 135i's have become. I love my hooligan TA, but it's just different and for that I love it.

Guy at tax control was like "why you buy motor cycle tires and car tires together?" lol. Couldn't believe skinnies were actually used on cars.

lolol..its like when people ask me about my cammed ls1 ,,is it a v8 and its idling..i dont know if their joking or what?lol

down here they tell you "bro get that misfire fixed." lolololol. I was actually able to hide my cam-only setup with this excuse various times and run some 4cyls that literally got their doors blown off lol.

Here's an example:


Guys thought I had a misfire and said he'd drag me. lololol.

I was going to comment on that, but I chose not too. Most supercharged 5th gens I've seen are still only good for low 12's

L99s with no stall bolt on and a fairly big cam run 11.5@118 all day.. With traction.
With stalls people are seeing 11.3@119.

Problem with supercharged 5th gens is traction. They are impossibly hard to hook. That's why you see 12 seconds.

You won't find them on the fast list because no one really posts up there anymore but over on c5 there's padre who ran an 11.5 on an stock stall auto. Another guy with a stall ran an 11.3 and tons of 11.4s and 11.5s.
