If I remember correctly, the pre-2013 GT500's costs in the same range as the current ZL1 and couldn't break out of the 12's either.

I wont make this thread about me or my car as it will **** certain people off. But i will say this. My buddies auto zl1 (who has MUCH more racing experience then me) managed a 12.4 at 114 with a 1.80 60 ft at WOT launching the car the exact same day i struggled to get my car moving and still beating his et with a stick car on STOCK STREET tires, not DRs. He made countless passes that were slower then that as well. He out trapped me in the 8th, and i out trapped him in the quarter. Hes getting beaten pretty bad on the highway. Both he and I know this because we arent fan boys of any brand. And regardless of me beating or losing to it, that car was NOT built to compare to the boss. It was built for the GT500. I have an NA stock 5.0... it has a supercharged 6.2... yet i still am faster. Im sorry, but thats embarrassing for the zl1.

Ok im not saying anymore about my car. If would like to continue... PM me. I dont feel like hearing it from the certain folk.

FYI, the same guy who went 12.4 at 114 in his auto zl1 went 11.6 at 121 in his air intake, tune only 08 gt500 with the factory wheels/tires on it.

If anyone tries blaming the driver... i will laugh hysterically. He must know what hes doing with a stick car but not an auto?

Why not get a matching set of RTS wheels for the front. You have the cash. Grab an 18x9 for the front

Wrong tire only previous gt500s have went faster. Regardless price and what they did stock has nothing too do with my tag idea as the car is not stock nor is it new. So maybe you are the one who needs too think before they type?

I have a set of matching welds on the front but they're mounted on skinnys. My slicks blew up.

I have 4 RTS rims. 4 Oz ultraleggeras and 4 21" GM painted.

OZ are my new street rims and tires. On the back I'm going to be running hankook ventus z214s.

I was thinking about this for a while but decided to just get the OZs because the style is what I have always liked.


Roads here are WAY too bad for skinnys though. But yeah RTS were killer. Most people here thought they were ugly though. Not me!
