Just think you had to swap engines with a bunch **** done to be able to hang with them. They still using the engine they got with some bolt ons. Yet wow you trap better notice you are not faster then them all. But yet most them are faster then all the bolt on SS. and and even C/H/I SS also.

Oh yet you claim not gutted I have full interior but yet have weight reduction yourself. So if i go further then you or some one else does that is wrong? Cause a Ford with weight reduction is a race car. LOL I can take everything out but my two front seats and seat belts and still DD it.

Maybe you should look at the fastest bolt-on ls1 list. If you compare it to your list your .3 off their best is over 1 sec faster than your best. You can dd whatever you want. I'm not gonna dd a gutted car. I think when you gut a car it goes into another relm from what I am in and I don't look to race or compare my car to that stuff. Yes I have weight reduction, but I have done it differently than most, it's no secret either. I'll take trap speed anyday over time. My car has a roadrace set up on it anyway. I just put my bogarts on it and go to the track everyonce in while. I don't like to drive it on those skinnie front wheels.....no fun

The race was about 5 months ago, so I don't remember it real clearly, it may have been more.
I recently took a V6 Camaro from a dig (his car came complete with 2 sacks of fist pumping ballast--er, "traction enhancement mods"). Was it fair? Nope. But it sure was fun. He picked me to mess with, and got what he deserved. Same goes for the 5.0 here. He tried to reel in a catfish, and got pulled into the lake instead.

Hmm, I think that I'm gonna call my gutted race car a DD now; since I removed the weight "tastefully"

Don't forget to custom triple disc clutch it and faceplate it so it will get out of the 12's and into the mid 11's. It is possible you might have to swap in a different motor though.

You guys kill me how long you retain useless data about each other lol. You all have ******' memories like elephants when it comes to SR&K! I dare to guess that none of you are quite so efficient and relentless at your daily jobs though lmao jk.

It's true though for all of us on here, pretty much; that we can chronologically and systematically regurgitate factual data about each other that we somehow effortlessly collect AND retain.

Stopsign32v- there is nothing wrong with doing what you gotta to get out of the 12s. Some guys need every trick in the book, others just need a few pieces...

Trust me, I wouldn't know.

Ofcourse we are jealous of your superior Camero! I just can't get over the impetuous detail GM gave the cars. The quality of the interior, the crisp tightness of the door handles, the windows that roll completely down in half a second...Ford, why aren't you taking notes!?

I know we need do engine swaps I guess. But you scared to race another car you can tell the weight reduction right away cause its a "race car" f it sweight reduction is more then you care for.
