Just face it, the 4th gen is a tough platform.
I never said it wasn't a tough platform. It is. The LS engines are strong. But trying to compare a engine/car that has had 15yrs to do the things it has. WHich most them fastest times didn't happen till 08ish. SO it took them how long to do this?

Now my race weight is 3680lbs. Thats with really no weight reduction. Different rims, some LCA's, UCA's, and exhaust which is about 15lbs lighter. Look at some the 5.0's that went low 11's. There race weight is between-3200-3600lbs. SO tells me they have not taken the car to its fullest potential yet. A few have hit 10's but I haven't seen there race weight.

I will say after next round of mods, with some good air, I don't hit high 10's N/A(10.7-10.8) with weight I am at now. I will sell my car and by a 08ish Z06. That is a promise. Well if I don't get booted for not having a cage. But I know a few tracks that will not say ****. I will also be spraying for lower 10's.

Good times! Cecil is definitely one of best tracks to run on the east coast.

I'm not arguing that, I'm saying that Ohioborn isn't rambling on about something he knows nothing about.

IS it just a LS1 with cam and heads. I mean if that was case it would not have been easier to buy a used LS1 and put a better cam and heads in it.

I think the point is that he try's to hype his car as it is a stock LS1 with some bolt ons when he has a LS6 to run 11s. His LS1 ran 12's by his sig.
I've not hyped ****....simply stated whst it was. Hell look around, I've posted lots of picks of what is done to the car. Unlike you not saying you were on e85 until recently just to run a high 11 . Was you on a full slick too?...

Dude as soon as I mod the frontier I DD you better watch out! It is gonna be so fast! I'm gonna have this shop do it for me. I don't install my own stuff cause that is weak. Just wait till I put it on E85. I know, I know, you just can't get over how cool I am. Want me to keep talking about the stuff I PLAN to do to it yet haven't yet? Even though, I myself am not doing ANY of the work! Sounds baller as **** right dawg?

Hahaha....wonder what that "solid" E85 runni.....oh wait you edited that post.... Wonder what that "solid" 11 car runs on 91 octane in AZ.

Newbie is someone who is new and trying to learn.

A N00b is a frame of mind and anyone, newbie or oldbie, can be. trolls, haters, ignorant people, blah blah.

No, what you're doing is retracting your original statement. You just said 99Pewters statement was 'inaccurate', now you're 'not arguing that'. Just mind your business next time Noobie.

Haha that's all you've got? I'm disappointed....

Something being nice is complete and utter opinion by the way. But since you are wondering, I would consider my truck nicer/sweeter than a new 5.0 in certain ways. I would also consider the new 5.0 to be nicer than my truck in some ways. Also, yes I do find there to be something more respect worthy about a car that was built by a person and not a shop. Obviously a lot of the guys who just hand money to a shop feel the same otherwise they wouldn't get so defensive when you bring it up either. Thanks for asking!
