Don't forget that the mustangs around here run on failed trolling, magic dust, and over-confidence!

**** the other day I rolled into the throttle next to a mustang while leaving a light and his car teleported in front of my truck. Apparently he wasn't having any of my shenanigans!

how are you guys contesting this? what does it matter whether it was a 4.6 or 5.0? he annihilated the other car, as would be expected. not everyone knows exactly what emblems and options these new mustangs come with. it's not like he's going to bring up google while honking it off just to verify what he is racing...you ford boys are out of control. he raced a new mustang and beat it, as expected. he could roll race any stockish 5.0 in the country and pull on it.

and to...whiteknight i think, who only put a car on a v6 camaro? wtf? the v6 camaros are slow as ****. the v8s really aren't much better, imho.

My car traps the same as a 5.0 and my buddies cobra traps 122mph. If we raced from a 50mph roll I would actually expect WORSE than a bus between us by 115mph.

Unless you're saying my car would be closer than that to running with a pullied, ported Eaton, CAI, exhaust, 3.73, and tuned Cobra...

I guess it somehow got lost in the thread that he didn't even know if it was a 5.0 or 4.6.

I find it funny how some posters claim that the Mustang fan boys are trolls; even when GM fan boys can't use reason to look at race objectively.

I know what site I'm on and know that I shouldn't expect anything close to unbias.

Glad to see you are finally acknowledging a 4.6 3v would be a good race for you. Had it really been a 2011, he would have pulled you. They are nothing like the 3v.
whenever you wanna run shoot me a message.....Make sure your car has all it's interior.

On side note my new clutch and flywheel should be here next week. My stock one started slipping last time at the track.
I understand and really don't give ****. When you did your 12.2 run that was at what da and your car was stock. Now 80rwhp later you can only muster up a .5 better run. I post the times it runs with out excuses like the ford crowd on here. I could've said my injectors are over 105%(they really are) so a real good day really don't help it. I could've said that those runs were 6 or 8 in a row and that I never shut the car off during that period so there was never a cool down as it actually happened.
Here let refrase the race..... A new mustang revved on me.....I paced him until I seen a cloud of negative da in my lane and then I jumped on him and give him the hit because I new I had the advantge. Truth be known, it was more than a bus but it's kinda hard to tell in my rearveiw.

No, it wasn't lost. Is there even a way to tell? I know the CS doesn't have 5.0 badges...my brother had one.

I happen to drive a GM, but I like lots of cars. I loved my brothers 2011 until Ford dicked him...but sorry a 111-112mph car losing to a 122-124mph car by a few car lengths (he said A bus length, not bus lengths) is not in the least bit farfetched IMO. Perhaps we are just not in agreement to what constitutes a single bus length?

What does a 2010 GT/CS trap? 105-106? How the hell could anyone objectively think that wouldn't get destroyed by a 122+MPH car?

You guys are trolls. You don't see me on any of your sights.
Thunder it was bad....it could've been like 50 buses. He probally was'nt even raceing me. I mean ****, what's it take for me to go from 50 to 110 or 115....5 seconds or so +/-

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but I would just like one of the naysayers to explain the reasoning for thinking a 112mph (hell lets go on a limb and say a 115mph) car would run closer than a few lengths to a 120mph car.

If his car really trap's what he say's i think the outcome is not out of line, but to say you do not make excuse's HioSSilver well that's a FLAT OUT LIE. You are ALWAYS saying **** about how much weight reduction or boost a car has or how you run on 18's.
