Stopsign I know it's hard for you to believe, but you would've drove a little this past weekend I would've made a believer out of you.
If it would've been a 4.6 it would've even been near me 2nd gear.....atleast the 5.0 hung on for a second or 2.

It was in the fall so it probally was pretty good. It always traps over 122. The track was decent that day because the super stock guys was there. The 60' was the best for me that day.
On the run with the 18's on it it was beating on the limiter before the traps @ 122 and change. That was in the summer.
I had to make a change from 4.10's to 3.90's to get threw the traps.

On side note my new clutch and flywheel should be here next week. My stock one started slipping last time at the track.

it's plain to see that no one on here has crused houston tx. or reads 5.0 mag. there is a o'11 white plain jane stang, with a good tune and 150 shot that drove from ho. to jersey and ripped off a 9.96 ! owned by STRICKLEY PER. C-4 TRANS BUILT BY TRANS-KING. now don't get me wrong, i'm 100% G.M., but you've gotta watch what you say!

Glad to see you are finally acknowledging a 4.6 3v would be a good race for you. Had it really been a 2011, he would have pulled you. They are nothing like the 3v.

I'm not going to say that a 5.0 would of pulled him; but at the same token I don't think he ran a 5.0.

Based on the mods the OP has a ******* 4.6 wouldn't be able to read his plate after the hit unless it was fairly well modded. A race with a stock 5.0 would go pretty much like the race claimed by the OP.

Some of the mustang guys who normally seem to know what they are talking about are just straight up trolling and either have lost all reading comprehension or have gone retarded over the weekend.
Based on the mods the OP has a ******* 4.6 wouldn't be able to read his plate after the hit unless it was fairly well modded. A race with a stock 5.0 would go pretty much like the race claimed by the OP.

The OP stated that he bus lengthed the car in question; so you think he would bus length a 5.0 and do much worse to a 4.6?

In a car that traps 122-124 versus a stock 5.0 (especially with the possibility the owner doesn't know how to drive it decent) a bus length (what 2-3 cars) seems pretty damn possible to me.
My car traps the same as a 5.0 and my buddies cobra traps 122mph. If we raced from a 50mph roll I would actually expect WORSE than a bus between us by 115mph.
Unless you're saying my car would be closer than that to running with a pullied, ported Eaton, CAI, exhaust, 3.73, and tuned Cobra...
