LT1 vs ninja zx6r
pulled up to a light heading to redbox last night when a zx6r pulls up alongside me. now i'm not a big bike guy so, i don't know what year etc. i just know it was a zx6r. the light changes, i baby her out of the hole and he rolls out alongside me and we both punch it at about the same time. he pulled on me slightly but then i kept at his rear tire until i let out at 80mph. he wasn't pulling and i wasn't reeling him in. now i'm not saying the guy could ride or not or whatever...i was just happy with how my baby ran and wasn't devastated by losing. especially since the suspension is setup to handle not drag race. Damn I Love my Trans Am!

^^^ This. Had the same thing happen to me with a 2007 ZX10. Talked with the guy a couple lights back, ended up behind him at a red light with a wide open road ahead. He took off decently hard and was going through the gears quick with me WOT behind him. Got to the next light and sure enough, he didn't even know I was on it behind him and he was just torquing through the gears in the lower rpms. I laughed at myself over that one.

Indeed! I tried to keep up with a 2008 GSX-R750 from behind without the nitrous...
Where is the ROFLCOPTER?
(Before I got to the top of 3rd - 90mph, he was 2 football fields ahead and had no idea that I was trying to keep up - the nitrous wouldnt have mattered...LOL!!)

LOL! He must have been the worlds worst rider/didn't know you were racing him/was playing with you.... Because no way in hell would a stockish LT1 keep up with a 600 bike. I think the ninja 250's run low 14's stock. You sure it wasn't one of those?

Come on guys lay off he said it was some random dude and he had no idea if he new how to ride or if the bike was even runing right. I say rider. I have seen a guy go 12's at a 1000 ft on a 600 said he dosnt know what he is doing. Next time he was up he was doing his burnout and lost control of the bike, it stoped at about the 1/8th with him at the 60 ft lol

it was a zx6r and like i said i have no idea how old the bike was or what kind of rider he was but, he was definately getting after it. i've seen these older bikes with questionable riders running mid to low 12's and my car is fully capable of running high 12's so this is not as unreasonable as some of you guys say. but like i said...i was just reporting the facts...you guys have whatever fun you'd like...i know the truth....and just because my car isn't the god almighty ls1 doesn't mean it doesn't run good...cause i've pulled a stock ls1 camaro from 60-120 so, i know she pulls pretty good.

Well at least you had fun OP.
I use to toy with guys in there cars on my bikes, when I knew it wouldn't remotely be a close race. Act like I'm racing them with the throttle barely pressed, feathering the gas just keeping a nose ahead. And then laugh at the idea they probably go tell all their friends, family and post it all over the internet that they kept up with a crotch-rocket.
