Here is the hios low down even if it pisses him off. Hes a smart ***,******** who can also be arrogant. Hes 5.2 or so and prolly has a small ***** that contributes to these things. HOW EVER , hes is not a liar has no hidden mods like you listed and pulls no shady ****. If he admits to his face plated trans he hears about 24/7 he would list anything else done

i think his mph gains are found in the drivetrain.

you noobs questioning his motor are looking in the wrong place. motor is strong, but his clutch setup & trans coupled with a 10 bolt has mph monster written all over it.

combine that with the fact he can drive and you're looking at a car that would easily trap 5 mph over a similar car with an average driver and normal ls7 clutch / stockish t56.

noobs.

I even told Mike that in a text. But with 9 passes in the high 129 to low 130 range.....all I can say is that's what it did....and yes it is a crate ls6 with no gimmikes.
I guess when you really break it down, it's only about 20 rwhp down from a C6 Z06 and weighs about 150-200 lbs less with better 1/4 mile gearing. One way or another, you have a strong car man.

I already mentioned those points. combine that with close to 0 or negative d/a might make his mph possible. With ranger driving his stock z06 with just a drag radial at -1800ft da has trapped 129.5.

I have concentrated on making the car as efficient as possible, that's the road racer in me coming out.....now I need to work on the drag racer part a bit.

Your right, I have done alot of work in that area. Some guys forget there is more to a car than a motor.

Thanks. It feels stong, and seems to get better with mileage. I don't know if it will ever get to 130mph traps again, but 126+ is pretty average for it now.

IMO once you put a faceplated trans in a car it is a "race car".

In that case I guess a 160 hp b16 thats face plated needs a cage to run 15s lmao Since its a race car. Stoppy have you ever drove a face plated trans? And in reality our cars are more race with sway bar detached or removed. (my a arms dont even have a bracket for them) its a race car isnt it? RACE CAR DEFINITION : anything that cant be drove anywhere in country based on gas, A non DOT tire, Riveted windows, No heat , etc etc He can drive his gay fbody anywhere and does.

Hio: omg E85 is racegas because I can't get it at every station or at all in my neck of the woods. E85=racecar

In my eyes, the only thing that makes something a racecar is something that can't go on a simple cruise aka 5 gallon fuel cell. Other than that, you can drive just about anything on the street and enjoy, just some more than others.
