I was actually going to buy one with cash just over Thanksgiving break but somebody bought it before I could with more money. Had them talked down on a $60k sticker LTZ to $47k cash out the door. They are really wanting to get rid of those 2011's.
It comes down to the factor of how long you plan on driving them (which I do until it dies), how much you desire the "new car" idea and you being the one who knows the maintenance on the vehicle, and affordability. We'll see what is more practical when I search again.
I am still set on C6's. I love those damn cars. Driving is loving

And definitely buy a house first, set yourself up for the long run.

The only problem with buying the 07-09 E63 is that it's like buying a 2010 3V or a 6.1 Challenger.
The upcoming tt V8 E63 only makes 40 more hp, but the engine is going to be pretty insane with just a tune. It's also more efficient.
It even manages 16 city/24 hwy. The W211 just pales in comparison to the W212. Of course, the tt V8 W212 is $89k new.![Icon Eek](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/icon_eek.gif)
Actually, if you're going to get a W211 (03-09) then the car doesn't look much different throughout the whole generation.
So why don't you get an earlier E55 amg? You'll make as much or more power than the E63, you'll get the blower whine, and it won't cost nearly as much. It also gets 13 city/19 hwy vs the 12/19 of the NA E63. Just my perspective.

Well, I worked hard all throughout high school, invested money early and made a lot of profit. (Bought Google and Baidu back when they were small. Bought Wells Fargo and Principal Financial when their stock prices were record lows, sold at highs) I also have an internship now that is all commission. Over the last 3-4 months as a financial representative selling annuities, insurance, and other investments, working 20 hr weeks I have made ~$20k in commission as a top performer over the 3-4 months.

If I do jump at another 4dr, it will most likely be an 09 V unless my wife trades her SUV in n a 2012 300C SRT8, she loves them but I'd rather run around in the V.
Modded 06 C6 and 12 300C SRT8
or
10 Equinox and an 09 CTSV
Tough position!

Thanks, Jay. Hard work is starting to pay off.
The fact that you are still young, married, and have a little girl and can still afford the nice toys tells you that you are ahead of most people! Either one is a good option.

This time around I'm going to try and use my dad's GM credit card savings. He doesn't need another vehicle for awhile and is getting a company car so he'll be up to 3.
Finance and Accounting and will likely be pursuing MBA. Want to do investment banking
