It was Temple. Will be there this sunday with a couple stock 5.0's. We see how they run. One auto and one manual. On stock tires we went 12.4-12.7@111-112. It was the best prep there ever. What funny is the same prep I see at SAR all the time.

Good times. As it stands right now I am 3-1 vs the 5.0's. The one I posted I have run 7 times and never lost. Hell I think it was faster when it was brand new. Who knows what's wrong with it. **** is funny as hell.

My best run was versus a bone stock auto 5.0 on 28" MTs from two digs. He got out a fender, and I would pull like I did in the video posted until he got to my rear bumper, and he would creep back. First run he was creeping and I let out at 110 which is what I trap. Second run I stayed in it until 130 and he only got to my door handle. Good runs. That car just went 12.2's with a tune consistently and stepped down to 26" radials.

Oh and as a secret... I've almost purchased two 5.0's. I just can't find the one I want. I have nothing against them, but people get ******* butt hurt over them.

My only loss was versus a tuned M6 from a 20 roll. Still a good run, I got out on him, and he came around hard to win by a car and a half. He just purchased a Procharger for his.
Meet in Tampa around march 8-10th I willing see how this magical auto Z28 with only bolt ons does against my stock 5.0.

If you buy one buy an auto..There are stronger. Ask me how I know.

That might work out. Stock, no tune, tires? I have a video guy in Tampa.

Ok the vid of the M6 Z28 was my car. Titter on drag radials and I was on 275 no name street tires. Not Z rated or anything. First run was me spinning 1st through 2nd and 3rd and 4th caught me back up. Second run was my wife in the passenger seat working the traction control to keep me from spinning so bad and I wound up coming back around in the video to get him by a fender. 1st and 2nd gear were traction control on. My car is a vert so add weight there and I had a passenger AND was on street tires. Just needed to defend myself a little there so people weren't saying I couldn't drive my car etc.

Got drag radials now though

It wasn't you we was saying that couldn't drive.

If we can make some races work while I am in FL bring your car in the spray. Should be fun. I mean you should beat a stock 5.0 auto bad.

I am not real familiar with areas to run up that way, but I am sure we can figure it out. You could also make the hour drive south and we can setup a lot of runs. I am buying a nitrous kit from my friend in that area, so if I can get him to pull it off the car (silly attorneys are always ******* busy) I can make my trip up there to pick it up and have some fun. You can check over my car. I don't hide ****.

I have a STOCK 02 ss and it ran 12.94@108 one time most my other runs are a 13.1

He rolls around with a dry kit on the street, but runs NA at the track when he goes up with the local group to keep messing with their heads.

Dry kit? You know it's those twin electronic superchargers.

Don't be jelly. You're now just another angry 5.0 owner that has lost to my slow LS1.

Full disclosure: I need to spray my car to keep up once those 5.0s start modding.
