Default Got Killed by a Twin Turbo 350z

I ran my friends twin turbo 350z and all i have to say is... DAMN, that car moved. We went from a 30 roll and it was pretty even until about third, he started to pull away, once we got into fourth (my gearing, think he was even in 5th by that time) he put 2 cars on me when I shut down around 115-120. He put down 370rwhp on 4-5lbs of boost. Was running 6lbs tonight and will get tuned for 9lbs. That is going to be a sick car.

Since i'm posting a loss, here's another one from tonight. Ran my buddies second gen talon, got pulled by 2 cars again, letting off at 120 or so. (i stop myself from going any faster and have made a pact to stay out of 5th)
Start from a 50 punch with him brake boosting. I pulled out a car or so infront, about the time i'm going into forth he starts reeling me in, passes me pretty hard around 110 and puts 2 cars on me.

Second gen talon, 50trim turbo, cams, 20lbs of boost on c16, and other misc stuff. Obviously we've got some quick imports down here. There weren't any domestics to play with tonight.

I did beat my friends WRX which is also a 12 second car. lol. I love these guys. They definatly have my respect.

If your curious as to what i have...
Important stuff- LT's, ORY, Borla, Lid,FTRA, Jantzer TB, pro 5.0, nitto's. Not to shabby but far from real fast.

Thanks for readin my glorious deaths.

Drew

How in the world can a 350Z put down 370 rwhp w/ just 4 lbs of boost? I am not calling bs, but thats just insane.

too bad u got killed, you need a cam badly, maybe a hidden 100dry shot would be a little bit of a nice insurance policy, cant ever beat the power to $ ratio on that one...

My guess would be he meant 4lbs per turbo since he said it was a twin turbo setup. 2lbs per turbo be very low output to be putting down numbers like that. Especially in a car that only has 280 fly wheel horse to begin with. Nice deaths though man.

With your mods, your car is starving for a cam. Go over here -------------->

And pick one up!

Yeah, i want a cam.... other priorities at the moment. They did take it to the track on 5lbs (i'm assuming thats each turbo) and he managed a high twelve (no traction) at like 113 with a leaking wastegate on one of the turbo's. Got that fixed up and haven't been back out to the track. they are decent size turbo's i want to say i remember hearing k18's (if your familiar at all .) After a proper tune and on 9lbs they are expecting atleast 400rwhp. Its just plain sick....

I've been thinking about a cam... you guys think the tsp 231/237 is to much for a stock headed daily driven car?

ya but how much did you spend on your car? and how much did he spend on the 350? i guarantee if you took the amount he spent on the turbo kit and put that on your car you'd walk him. but nice deaths! honorable

That guy must of spent some money on that car because I don't think the new 350z come turbo charged. Unless you are talking about the old 300z twin turbo?
