Since this has basically become a BS thread, I'll chime in here...
They look amazing. I would give my soul for that car. I absolutely love how they made it resemble the 96 body style more than the 04ish style. Can't wait to check one out in person.
ZR1 is just a vette with a supercharged motor thrown in it. Don't get me wrong, I love the ZR1...but the new viper has a lighter V10 now cranking out over 600 HP. Car is going to be a monster, and theres nothing like feeling that low end viper torque.

Really... we are comparing price tags again. How is he not able to compare the SRT8 to the rest? Everyone wants to whine if the BIG BOAT 4 door wins. If you are gonna whine about how much it costs then don't run it and stop bringing knives to gun fights.

I love the new Challengers. Think they are overpriced a bit like everyone else, but hey, they still sell - so somebody did the formula right. I know I'd want a Tungsten Gray one personally (huge fan of gray cars)

ZR1 is alot more than just a vette with a S/C thrown on it, almost every part of it was designed specifically for it. Kind of like how the Z06 was in 06-09.

ZR1 will be a better "daily driver" car as far as comfort is my guess, but if you have that kind of money, I doubt you care about that. The Viper won't suffer from heat soak like the ZR1 could so it will be an interesting match indeed

I see your sig says it ran 12.51 which infact would be faster than my time best time to date which is only 12.56. However I haven't seen a timeslip of this run either. Infact I have never seen a timeslip of any run you claim in your sig. I HAVE seen you post timeslips so I'm not sure why it's hard to post these, unless you just made them up to somehow make yourself feel better about your car.As far as Mach 1 vs SRT8...well that is totally an opinion. I'm sure a 70 year old couple would much rather drive your car while a hot 18 year old girl would rather drive mine. To me, the choice is clear. Plus I'm not into comfort...I run dumps so when I get where I'm going I smell of burnt 93 octane gas, I enjoy the front end lifting when I press the gas, I love the fact that my car's throttle and clutch are both operated by a simple cable, I have 100% control of when my car shifts, I HAVE to manually shift my car, and the only computer aid I have to my right foot is a basic traction control switch (that has since been deactivated). So if you are trying to point out that your car is better than mine...to you it might be, but no where close to being better to me.
I want raw muscle car feel and that's what I have. Your car is just pretending to have that.
