Are we talking about the 2013 version or earlier? A lighter car (3200 lbs or so) and good N/A power (550 whp/520 wtq) with big cubes or even more HP with forced induction.
...Then of course the GT500 could also mod for more HP, so it's hard to say for sure.

I didn't kill one but in my old 02 H/C Z06 I was able to put about a car length on an 09 GT500 that made 575rwhp. We ran to about 130ish. Oh my Z06 made 457rwhp.

Can't wait to run into one . GT500 are not very common around here. The new ones look to be pretty nasty, the older ones not so much.

About 400 to the tire give or take, my makes 406 to the tire on the Famous Heartbreaker Dyno, but around 450-460 (thats just motor)on a dyno-jet depending on the dyno, I have yet to run the 12-13 Gt500's but I have heard 12 is a bit better and 13 is a Monster but I personnally have not ran one yet.

I beat a stock 2011 gt 500. I got him by 1 car he had 3 passengers, I had one. He was showing off to his friends how fast his car was. He had just bought it. we both took off at the same time 40 roll. He started pulling on me, I fell back 1/2 a car and his friends started to wave goodbye. I shifted to 3rd and I stared reeling him in. At the end of the race I had him by a car.

I took down my brother neighbors gt500, i think it was an 08, but all i had was bolt ons, gears, big cam,a good amount of weight out, drag set up,he wasnt the best driver but i still count that, but any new gt500 is going to take alot more than that, whats your budget and whats done to the car now, ya always could do bolt ons, cam, gears, and a 150good shot that will let ya hang with most,
