Launch control is junk. I've cut some of the worst 60fts ever using it. I just leave around 1500-2000 on the street and roll into the throttle. My 1st gear boost is limited at ~15psi. It works well on drag radials at the track, but on street tires on the street it just blows the tires off.

I wish this site had a Cobalt SS section, cause I have so many question for you kids because of how awesome the car is. I might shoot you guys a few PM's.
1. Is the car reliable? Any known issues at all? Kinda like the weak rear end of the f-body? Anybody on the cobaltss.net forums with high millage cars? Does the transmission/clutch/turbos all stand up well over time, that is if their not too much abused?
2. From what I've seen the interior for a 2008+ car is FAR from impressive, but obviously light years above f-body(not a huge accomplishment), is it a comfy interior, do stuff fall apart after a while? Is the stereo half decent? Seats supportive over time without back aches?
3. How's the ride comfort over not-perfect pavements? You'll feel everything or does it have a relatively comfy suspension?
4. How expensive are the breaks to replace or get maintained? Considering they are Brembos.... nice... but costly![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
5. I've heard it's very easy/cheap to get these cars into 330whp range, what trap/quarter mile times will that be then? Do you have to beef up the transmission or the turbos at all then after the mods?

2. Interior is alright. The bezel for the sunroof switch WHILE fall off. Stock system is nice 7 speaker with 10" sub in the trunk. Upgraded headunit and your good.
3.It had a fully tuned suspension from factory(years on the Ring) so by no means does it ride like a caddy. You will feel bumps and if u go with springs it will only be worse.
4. Brakes aren't bad. I just upgraded to drilled/slotted and keep the Brembos for $215.
5. I'm in the HP range and I'm going to the track this Friday so I'll let ya know but usually around 12.8-13.5 depending on what tune and tire set-up. You can see almost 400whp on a stock turbo if I remember correctly. I would upgrade the transmission if you plan to run bigger turbo or go over 400whp.
