Corvette guys get butthurt about a lot of things lol. Especially the stock A4 c5 guys. They think they have a race car..when in reality, a good running cobalt will lay them a beating haha

Never seen so many people talk about warranties and why the car already has too much power stock, so mods are a waste of money on one forum in my life LOL

lmao thats typical vette talk. My buddy back when he had a C5 made an exhaust for it. He actually used Cherry bombs. Like actual cherry bombs, just to prove a point. So he made all the tubing, made an x pipe etc etc. He caught so much **** from vette guys about how he was ruining a car and he needs to buy a 2k exhaustm how its an american icon, yada yada. He then posts a video of the final result. One of the best sounding exhausts ive heard on a vette, and it costs him 200 bucks to make, and with cherry bombs at that. Needless to say, everyone shut there mouth.

Prob 3700 w/o driver, put me in it 3860.

I know its heavy but it's a lot better than 4020 it was at before with me in it, and I have yet to do any drastic weight reduction.

lol. But 38xx is a lot better than 40xx.

Like I said very basic weight reduction...rims, suspension..exhaust.

I can drop down to 3600 with driver fairly easy I'm sure. We will see what I will do when the track opens. I'm about to get a nice raise and have been considering turning the 5th gen into a full drag car to try to hit 8s and then buy myself a cts-v or a vette for street fun and keep the ram as my daily.

I'm a ******* wizard
I'm going to buy up the US Militaries special metals, since they're going to be broke (lolo) and make my car out of lightweight diamond-skin metal. 200lbs car stronger than a tank.

9.5 inch converter (drops around 25-30lbs over a stock 12 incher), 1 piece aluminium driveshaft. Lightened ring and pinion (gearing pending goals), lighter axles. Thats a solid 75-100lbs... all in the drivetrain. Any weight you pull before the pinion gains you quite a bit.

Only thing there I don't have is a converter and the driveshaft.

What type of stall do you guys think would be good to keep the car streetable? I'm having a lot of problems right now, the car is drowning itself when I stop at lights and stuff lol. Keeps turning off and wanting to die because rpms dip to like 200 then back up to 800ish.

Dude look into a carbon fiber DS. Ive seen some go for $500ish used on here. New there like $900. But about 20lbs lighter than aluminum from what i read. Also read about people having chromoly ones custom made.
