Arrow Turbo SVT Focus vs LS2 Camaro SS *video*

Just a quick run from a little cruise we took today, knew the outcome but it was just between a couple friends. It was a ~40 roll, both cars spun a little. Focus let out because it started to lean out...

Camaro- full boltons, circle D 4000 stall
Focus- built motor, GTX3076 on 19-20psi, pump gas

Great video.

The focus community is scared of E85, I wonder if he was on the corn?

Figures.

I started a thread on focusfanatics to see if anyone had tuned the new focus ST for E85. You'd think I dipped a religious symbol in a bottle of urine and took pictures. They are perfectly happy with their 300-350whp foci.

He had racegas in it for a few weeks, but went back to pump gas. I know he wants to turn it up again.

This car made 370whp on a Mustang Dyno, I want to say that was on 17psi too but I could be wrong on that.

I'd like the Focus ST, but I don't think I'd make a racer of one because the point would be to have power available(and 250 is plenty at that weight), but still have great fuel economy. Cool car though, for sure.

250hp in a 3250lb car...I'm thinking you are right about it not being a race car, but ok to DD if you are used to no power at all. It would feel like a race car then.

I doubt nearly anyone ever driving the ST will feel like the vehicle lacks power to any degree, even 100% factory stock. Keep in mind, this little thing has been tested to run rather well and most cars on the roads of the world won't remotely compete with it in terms of performance. Ours, specifically our modified V8 cars, aren't like most world-wide.

Even so, 30 isn't more than 30 and these are 2 very different vehicles with only a small number of matching characteristics. Heck, my 1990 Mustang 4cyl got 36mpg hwy and the only other similarities to speak of between the 2 is that both wear a FORD badge and have 4wheels. The old Mustang isn't close to as nice or capable. Or were you saying you got 30 from your stock ST??

I used to see 28 with no problem... oh, wait... long time ago. Can't even get good fuel in most places anymore, so...
