Oh trust me I know. A friend of mine has a TT one and I pretty damn fast but I could only imagine how fast it would be at f body weight let alone at what my cars weighs.

For what he has in his vette you could just slap a blower on the 5.0 cheaper an be just as fast if not faster. I have 7k total performance mods. He has least the same if not a little more. My best being 10.39@133.


He already has H/C etc etc. No different then a 5.0 doing it all to run him and be able to win. H/C setups have made 500-550whp on the 5.0.

Not talking about power. Talking about all that stripping weight bs you have to go through. I know of a blown 5.0 that was making the same power as me last year and he couldn't get withing 2 cars of me and he'll readily admit it. He's a better driver than me too but hard to beat a car that's this light with a better power band.

Looks like it's going to take a shop's purpose built race car to beat it in the 1/4...but it still won't hang on a roll

I've ran a ls2 with similar mods as him and on 150 shot. He got bear Preston good by me. He don't track car but it should run easy mid 10's with traction. He said he was at 630whp on a dyno jet. This is him on a mustang dyno that read about 13-14% lower the dyno jets in our area. And he has more in his car then me. He is losing some power like me cause his heavy rims. But they cost 7500 with tires he's never getting rid of them.

Yep..and that was from acute who paid 8300 about 2weeks before then hurt his engine. Never even mounted them.

You need to run a spray one or one with a blower like mine. LS3's make more power.

That's a silly way to think IMO. Never new the value of your car determined what rims/tires are appropriate for it. lol But ok funny guy...

That's not what i meant. I just thought he'd own a C6Z or an LS3 C6 or something 7800 on rims is alot of $.
