What we are saying is that you own a cookie cutter car, and you downgraded terribly, your mach one used to break the sound barrier.

He is saying porting an intake or swaping to a FAST is a bolt on like 99.9% of the car world does. But yet they don't consider a ported blower a bolt on.

ported intake = bolt-on

changing atmospheric pressure via pulley/ported blower = not bolt-on

You could do cooling mods, headers/exhaust, tune, weight reduction, clutch, intake, tb. Those are bolt-ons

This summer brings gears, kmember, longtubes, strange brakes for sure. Plus some time this year built block and turn boost up to 18ish. I'm not worried about anything you or your buddies have.

Have another 5.0 that is making 650-700, and the GT500's, a third Gen that runs 9's, and few other cars. No one is worried.

Headers on a blower car changes boost, so that would change atmospheric pressure....so does that make headers no longer a bolton?

It drops boost bust also makes it more efficient. And still make more power. The tvs 5.0 in the original post has a pulley that makes 10-11lbs boost. But he says he's only seeing 8 or so since he put headers on. But makes more power with the headers.

in my opinion, a "bolt-on car" is a car in which modifications are done without the parts touching coolant and/or oil as well as maintaining the atmospheric conditions that the car has always had.

i have a feeling there's so much butt hurt about this bc the "bolt-on" category is so subjective.

Ok lolz you must think the cars you seen in the video are the fastest cars around down here you would be sadly mistaken I invite any of yall too come down here and show us how not worried you are. Anyways when the gt500 gets some longtubes port etc. I will gladly run you if you are still on stock block with the eaton gt500
