If he went 11.1 @ 124 your 12.0 @ 119 is not gonna beat him. It's not even gonna be a good run. Unless something happened to his car.
Besides mph is no bs. I like good solid mph, it gets work done on the street.

That's why you don't DD on bigs/little's, for one getting stuck in rain sucks. Plus you want the softer side wall to take that hit of the manual. I have had no good experience with 555r's. Buddy semi DD on his 20" rims with a 305 555r great for the street. For track after the 555r sucked he straps Hoosiers on his GT500. Improved his 60ft by .4 and ET by a over a second. Both runs wn 15's and 275's.

Auto thinks he can out run Hio???
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!y!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hio has gone solid 11s. On heavy *** 17" rims and street radials.
555rs are good for the street. At the track they need a ton of heat to work half decent. When will you guys with sticks learn that a non radial is best due to the really soft sidewall. Don't run street radials on the front with them either
