Default 2007 Z06 Vs. D1 charged Mustang GT

So coming back from Cars and Coffee I was at a red light next to a friend in his 2002 Steeda Mustang GT running a D1 charger @ 9 PSI, making 604 rwhp. I'm making 560-570 rwhp cause it's too cold to run the nitrous. We didn't really want to race but hey... Going from a dig, from a light, nothing but clear road ahead, I believe it's illegal to pass that up.

Light goes green, we both limp off the line because first gear is totally unusable on cold street tires. I hit second and go WOT and hear his charger whine, by the top of third I had him by a few cars.

Don't you know we hit ANOTHER red light together. I tried to run first gear harder this time, just got wheel spin. BUT, he did too, again I let up at about 120, top of third with a few cars on him. Good fun, props to a fast Mustang.

Good kills. Sounded like fun. And yeah... very rarely do two fast cars line up at a light next to each other with clear roads ahead and roll off in 2nd and cruise the rest of the way. LOL

Always nice to get a close race with two fast cars, but 604rwhp @ 9psi with a 2V GT? Is it a h/c/i car as well?

His car doesn't make anywhere near that power on 9 psi. H/C/I and 9 psi won't get him there either.

Yeah, 9psi on stock heads/cams is ~400-425rwhp (sometimes less).

Just another way of asking "hey, do you know the setup the Mustang has?"

All I can tell you is that what I quoted is directly from his online signature. Also, the speed difference between our cars would indicate about that much SAE RWHP.
