with the novi kit, i would more then likely have to de-tune it heavily to stop it from making too much power. The RPM i spin, and how big that blower is, i will most likely see 10+psi on the big pulley. It will handle the power, but 700+....meh... a bit much for me..

However....Cobra Jet intake plus Novi 2200

Really? I can't seem to find any D1SC kits for under 6k+. It'll be a lil while before I make the purchase but the price is the one reason its taking so long.

You could go turbo for a little less than 4k and since you are local........

Save some money for injectors/pumps/etc, but that comes with the territory for any FI build

I'll be going with black centers. So confused on whether I want 17" for a bigger sidewall rear tire, or 18" for much better looks. Could probably still put a decent DR on an 18" but IDK. Gotta decide.

Any FI build gets expensive pretty fast if you do it right. The little things add up fast. I have spent over $500 on small stuff in the past two weeks trying to finish mine.

Wow that is a damn good deal. Def have to factor in the dual pump setup and injectors.

I seen your vid at Straightline with the transbrake, Looked so badass. I have been actually meaning to go there, next warm day, so they car tune my speedo after the 3.73 install. I talked to them over the phone a few times, everyone seems real nice.

Yeah during my build I was surprised how much little hardware and fittings would cost. Trying to do things right with quality line and AN fittings for the fuel system, oil feed and return, and trans cooler gets pricey. It's one thing to buy the main components. It's another when it comes to that little crap adding up. I'm looking at buying FIC 1600cc or 2000cc injectors since I'm maxing out my 95lbers and they are about $1100-$1200 for a set. The faster you get, the higher the cost.

Evan, just sell that Coyote engine and drop in a turbo 5.3

PS, the high RPM revs sounds amazing!!

mods are in my sig, im not running meth tho... its on 10lbs, i also wasn't running mt streets, i had bald *** nitto DR's on it... the car is going under the knife very soon. im in the middle of a build and this is most likely the last anyone will see of it at this stage.
here are some details on the setup going into the car very soon.

I knew there war something wrong the last race, there no way bolt-on Boss hangs/beats a properly set-up S/C vette. Pulled like a freight train once it got traction!!

maybe this has been covered before by one of you guys, but doesnt this just mean that you can make any platform fast with that green **** we call money? I love the 302 and the regal is a regal. While it is impressive for that regal, any of us could do that with money. Throw enough money at a geo metro you could make it go fast.

Im getting measurements done right now by a buddy to make sure it will fit with the oval TB.

And 700 will not be to much. Just detune for a DD tune. Then go hard for a race tune. That is what I did. My street tune only makes about 640ish on teh 20's. Where race tune made 706 on the 20's. On bigs/littles it should be around 730-740.

Also with the 3.8 pulley(stock pulley) and fact you have headers you will see roughly 8-9. I have a 3.6 pulley with no headers but the boss and see 11lbs. I will be dropping to the 3.4 pulley( I already have it). And headers and X pipe are on the way. Should see about 12-13lbs with the 3.4 and full exhaust. Thats what most are seeing with Boss/3.4/full exhaust/spinnng 7600-7800. And I spin mine to 7700 on race tune 7550 street tune.

Call Terry Reeves of teamBeefcakingracing. I bet he can get you a hell of a deal even on a GM kit.
