Mach at the track

Embarrassment of posting what? I don't remember talking about porting either. I mean, I'll give you my opinion on it. I think its about as useful as a damn php spacer. It doesnt hurt, but its not going to change your ET by more than a tenth if that much.
Maybe you should've tried one of the tail pipe whistler things? Back pressure yo!

11/28/10 1.695 7.780-89.58 10.148 12.150-112.68 LTs
03/20/10 1.692 7.925-87.40 10.347 12.388-110.48 Stock manifolds
Or you can look at the best for both
1/4 mi.....12.092 @ 113.45 Lts vs 12.304-110.94 with stock manifolds
2.5 mph and over 2 tenths faster

So let me get this straight you say optimal gears for a Bolton ls1 is 3.73s? Optimal gerars for a bolton 01 cobra is lets say 4.30s. So you think the car going from 3.27s to a 4.30. Is not going to pick up more then a car going from a 3.42 to a 3.73?

Let's look at this. With almost identical 60fts the l/ts went 2.2 mph faster and .23 tenths faster but your are right they want even change it by a tenth lol. Keep sniffing that paint man

No. Both engines make power completely different.

I swear you can't get any dumber. Look at the dates, those results were ran months apart! Ryan (rygi) was known for improving every time he hit the track. Is that really the best you can do? Real proof? Bolt ons out side of an O/R pipe do VERY little for Machs. Deal with it.
I hope you are trolling. If not you are giving Morbid a run for his money on being the biggest dumbass in the S/S of MF.

Derp, the trans gearing for a 3650 will be shorter then the gearing for the t56. I mean **** 5spd mach's come with 3.55's and still are slower than LS1's with the longer trans and gear.
#3174
No ****. Derp. When you add gear you don't change shift points you just change MPH per gear. If the 3650 is SHORTER than the T56 and it has a 3.27 gear out back it doesn't matter the gearing is still shorter aka it would accelerate faster.
Your argument would be plausable if both cars had a T56 and one had 3.27 gears and the other 3.42. Thats not the case here.

It's no use adam.....he don't understand gearing. He's not bright enough to figure out that the cobra/mach actually has more gear until 3rd gear even with 3.27's. 3rd gear is about a wash with there being about .1 difference.

Lol ive known **** like this since HS, when i was fooling with hondas.
Yeah i agree, around that area. 5400-5500. i was just going by the motortrend info. Which sparked automach's butthurt.

Actually that test car came optioned with the SLP Muffler/Center Mount Exhaust, which isn't worth much more than the stock muffler.
