Amen to this. My first time to the track with my h/c setup I ran 13.1 @ 106 my first night with the car at the track. Shift points, launch rpm, speed of your shifts, traction...all that little **** adds up when you're feeling out your car at the track for the first time. Not everybody runs their personal best their first time out.

I know a guy in Durham that specializes in rear diffs/axles. Sounds like clutches. Let me know and I'll get you his info.

I'm glad this has turned into "Quest to get Guitar's car to run half decent".

With a busted up rear 1.9 60 foot and still running mid 12s aint bad at all given the circumstances, but **** that trap speed is so low. Maybe the busted up rear/bogging launch contributed to that.

I've got a race setup for a swapped terminator drivetrain in a Mustang. Should be interesting...he said he rather do it at the track. I thought "no you don't"

It's a 99-04 V6 turn 03 Cobra

No excuses are made when sub par results are found. None of which have happened with my car.

The brake caliper excuse was the one i heard several times when people were ragging on your trap.

Just pointing it out. I, myself am happy with 108 trap speed for mods I have. Plus I don't race at the track for MPH. What did my car ET?

It ET's well, it went mid 12s right?

But a trap speed is the best way to tell how powerful a car is, thats why im concerned more about that.

I guess, i mean its a 108 mph car. I don't really consider a lid catback untuned auto f-body to be anything out of this world. Especially the handicaps he had vs your car. But yeah for its league it does well.

On the street it would be a good run for most NA k-swap hondas around here.

Yeah, most light bolt-on A4 LS1s I've seen around here trap 106-109. Hard in the humidity of summers to get decent DA. I imagine it is even worse down in FL. Walking in your our sweat
