Hey, maybe I read wrong, but I don't see that car taking down any stroker GTOs from any reasonable speed roll.
And to make this clear, I was directed here from somewhere else. If you think I'm going to read twelve pages of what seems like children arguing, well, you mus have less of a life than me.
Fucktard? Really? Get out of highschool. Or at least get your mind past highschool. Now I know why they call this place ls1toke

GTOs arent the flying bricks that you seem to think they are. Their only real short coming is in their sloppy stock suspension. They're neither heavy in comparison to today's modern muscle cars, nor do they have a high drag coefficient. Are they a vette? No. But mine did just fine up until I retired it this year

So, let's make some sense out of this, since that came directly out of your mouth. An average ls2 stoker (402, 408, or maybe a less common 413) in a GTO will make in the neighborhood of 480-530rwhp with a stronger torque curve than a stock cube'd car. A mild bolt on ls2 C6 will make around 370-400rwhp. These are both pretty well documented with the countless builds since both of these cars have been out for 7-8 years. I think we could all agree on that, no?
So going by your math (remember, this is YOUR math), a GTO needs 80-100rwhp to compete with a vette.
I'm seeing an average difference of 120rwhp between a stroker ls2 GTO and a bolt on C6. Mind you, the stoker is going to make more torque accross the board as well.
It's ok though, guys. I'm a fucktard.
If you're going to troll, at least learn to do a good job of it.

Absolutely. Couldn't agree more.

I guess you didn't read what the guy with stroked GTO said in the beginning. He was talking like OP's Vette wouldn't even be a race at all for his mighty GTO, which isn't the case at all. He said his GTO would ABSOLUTELY destroy the Vette. Not with only 100whp or so on it, it won't. The GTO might edge the Vette out.

I believe OP said his car makes over 400rwhp also.

Z06 is actually Vararam and tune (commonly about 460+rwhp) and GTR was bone stock.
I gave them the hit, and no brake boosting either. I made 555/536, and all cars had passengers.
95rwhp advantage... Giving them the hit... Some race, huh? Shouldn't I have been like, door to door or something?
I raced my friends vette other times, and at lower power the pull in 5th gear is pretty slow. It just gets uglier, regardless of a slightly lower drag coefficient and smaller frontal area. At high speeds, power rules street.
My money is on the GTO every time.

Easy on the shoot up schools comments, please. I happened to have gone VT. Polite request, not starting any side argument here.
