Friend has a modded 600RR which dyno'd about 18whp more than stock one. From 40 roll he pulled solid 2 cars till 120, from about 120 to 160 not only did i catch him but i pulled over 2 cars at that point.
My friend is a good rider but this other kid i wasnt sure about.

I don't remember exactly how it went but this is how I recall it: First run was just screwing around with me chasing you after you romped on it - was slowly closing gap (thats when I knew my car was acting up again) but was still at least a car length from your bumper when we closed on traffic. 2nd time we lined up but no honks and I gave you the hit. Hell there might have been honks but I don't recall it. Either way, you got out on me initially but I slowly was recovering and had just got even with you when we let up. I remember the look of "WTF is wrong with your car?!" on Mookies face on that run. 3rd run my car full on gave up and cut in the rev limiter so I let up and short shifted then gave up on the run.
That's the sequence I remember, I was more worried about what was wrong with my car then about the run results which is why a month later I don't remember the exact details.

I need to find a 600 to borrow...and a 120 car to race.
Help me out here Evan! Would be even better if its a 123-4 mph car, so i can just ride my 750 without side fairings and be a few mph faster than a 600.
We have to know someone in the right power range who is willing to do a 100-150 pull for laughs.

What I've gotten out of all of this:
1) Sticks n Stones' stoker, cam, heads, stalled, and 3.70 geared GTO should be faster than a bolt on ls2 vette no matter which way you slice it. It is what it is. Nobody should be making comparisons based on runs that he did while his car was suffering from a major loss in power.
2) Mookie has a nice looking C6Z.

I'm sure it was mentioned before too but a little ol' 600 runs out of steam around 120-125 mph and they top out around 145-150. Race one from a 50 roll and see how long it takes you to pass him. It was rider error for sure but you beat the rider and not the bike.
Geez you trapped 115.86? Dang! U be fast? What was your time on that pass, like a 12.7?

Aero dynamics favor a well aero'd car over a bike.

A built motor, stalled , geared 402 GTO should never lose to a bone stock 392 even if two spark plugs are pulled....to say I was surprised is putting it mildly. He still put down 435 rwhp in a lighter car to the 392s's 447 rwhp so it should have been closer even as bad as the car was running ....which I never saw because I wasn't looking in the rear view.

One last note from me on the performance comparison between all three cars. Everyone mentions weight like its the biggest and only real factor, besides peak horsepower numbers, making a
difference in the races between these cars and who should be winning or losing.
Gears. Mechanical advantage. Al three cars have large incremental differences in final drive ratios.
That is all

I've surely taken my 2 R1s (04 and 07) to 189 mph and it was still wanting to go.

The 392 is no joke...no its not GT500 fast...but it absolutely rips for a big heavy car with no mods. The handling is the thing that I like the most, and its surprising that the car handles as well as it does.
Weight doesn't make as big of a difference from a roll as you start to get deep into triple digit speeds. POWER....POWER...POWER....aero (frontal area/ cd)...and gearing are the most important at high speeds. The 392 put down 447 rwhp bone stock , and its geared to work well from a freeway roll.
I'd be surprised too if I went into that race knowing he has reputation of having a strong running car. Who knows if the car got even worse? I sure as heck don't...

beans ...find a car to race and u can use my GSXR 600. with a go pro on the tank aimed at the gauges.. i want u to top it out in whatever race u get into.
my 07 zx10 has got to 192 a few time before it runs outta steam or i run outta room. ive been a motorcycle mechanic my whole life and have been on em since i was 13...my zx10 will give anything a race all the way up to 175-180 before the areo's become a factor and by then who's racing...?

Some guys need to understand.. A 600 is a 125mph bike easily.. Couple that with a very aggressive gearing and high mph shift points with no traction issues.. It is why it takes a minimum of a 130mph car to run with them in any normal race.. 500+rwhp for most of us.
I could care less about a 100mph roll.. Any normal race and a 120mph car Will look like it not racing.

I believe the car will be called the Barracuda, and its supposed to be 3600 lbs or less. Still considering the fact that Mookie put down 481 rwhp ( a bit high) on the same dyno to this car's 447 is not bad considering the displacement difference, and the LS7's better breathing at high rpm.
