cam ls1 vs gt500 super snake!?!?!

Harlan made 1200rwhp on a stock sleeve LS6 block over a decade ago. That engine took a beating (170mph traps in a heavy car for years) and then saw daily driver duty for many more years.

It didn't have the catback because in 02 it would have had the center exhaust. With that came a valance that surrounded the entire rear bumper. It could be easily seen from the side.
My car had the slp bilstien suspension. There is a large difference between it and standard SS suspension as far as control goes. This car merely had the upgraded to SS suspension which would be above Z28 suspension but not up to the SLP suspension.

When was the dual dual used on SSs? Cant really tell by article if the car has the SS base suspension(bigger sway bars,17" wheels revalved shocks) or the upgraded SS suspension due to the wording in the article. I will message Evan on FB but he may not remember. If it didn't it would be been interesting in terms of lap times. I still believe a 345HP SS would have still lost to the Termi in the straights.
01-02 Camaro's stopped goin to SLP. The only way they went to SLP those years were when SLP options were added. ALL previous SS's went to SLP.
There is no way to really tell on the suspension other than ride height. SLP cars sat a little lower. And being that car had no other SLP options it's safe to say it didn't have that one either. The SLP biltein was not a popular option. I have seen it on less cars than any of the other options sans the black wing which was only done 1 year.
edit ....missed the dual dual question. They would've been used from 98-00.....maybe some 01. Guys like the center exit exhaust on the vettes so they made the center exit the option.

The side screws that bolt into the mains, I think are called Jack screws.
I don't know if you can talk much **** about the design, those stock blocks can take 2000+ HP.

If you're talking about the TT Firehawk, that made around 800rwhp at the end of 2003.

No. Yeah, i don't own a thing. Maybe one day i can own a ford escape. Maybe my grandmother will pick one up and i can show it off in my sig on ls1tech. Would be laff.
This might be part of why you don't have a job... posting stupid things like this... Because I add information in the auto media area, you claim I'm a pedophile... What kind of sick minded moron comes up with something that stupid AND THEN shares it???
I think you're clearly jealous because you have no job, no car and no life... Next time you exit the basement, tell your mom I said hi...

Lmao strong self reassurance.
If the 10 bolt wasn't a turd stock f-body's could easily go mid 12s with the MPH they are capable from factor. Tell me no.

This is a simple case of, I have and you have not. I chose what I chose because, unlike you, I can. My vehicle is very nice and yours doesn't exist. Ultimately, I do get the last laugh... because this joke is on you.

Okay, here's the deal... IF a frog had wings, it wouldn't bump its butt every time it jumped. Like, IF you had a job, you might not have to walk or ride your bicycle when mom sends you for a pack of smokes...

I think we both know the answer to that.

Nice... You tell me the 4.6 TEKSID block wasn't standard and I provided a part number proving it was, then you get cocky because you claim, unprovable so far, that 1 whole LS6 managed to make 1200hp at a time when dyno's could barely read 1200hp. Lemme know when 1 makes over 2,000hp and we'll consider it strong at that point. We all know that the LS1 or 6 isn't a great candidate for high power applications. Just look at the list of the quickest "LS" powered cars and note how many aren't actually LS engines. That said, I did point out, stock heads and crank as well.

Harlan (go ahead and search because it's clear you don't have a clue, maybe the name y2khawk will help ) made ~1200rwhp with that LS6. He wasn't the only one. SEVERAL other people have pushed OEM aluminum blocks past 1000rwhp.
And I'll reiterate it one more time for the slower people, like you: ALL Gen III and IV engines are considered LS engines. An example with your logic: I recently pulled a 350 based engine from my Camaro. It's not the factory 305 block. I guess that means it wasn't a SBC?

Your case has been closed, youngen'... Call back once you have a job and a vehicle. Otherwise, trying to make fun of someone because you think a brand new car you can only dream of attaining isn't cool enough is like pissing in the wind.
