Yeah it was sarcasm. A racer boy like you wouldn't know the difference though.

General Altimax HP.... They do ok (I do 1.9x-2.0x) 60fts at the track and they handle the snow pretty well. I don't make a lot of power so they seem to stick well enough for me. I can over power them anytime I want so I think I'm at the edge of what they can handle. For a year round tire that is around 90.00 each I won't complain. Will be buying them again unless the price shoots up.

Has anybody on here ever seen or used Wallace 1/4 mile calculator? A lot of people that are heavy into drag racing use it to help determine their HP or what their HP can do in the 1/4. It is widely accepted as being close to accurate.

Just for ***** and giggles some of y'all should punch in what you think a untouched internally bolt on LS6 engine makes at the flywheel in a 3000 pound car and see what the results are. It gives you several scenarios to determine, you could try them all, since you know the car ran a 10.02 at 135 mph and weighs 3000 pounds and the engine is only a bolt on LS6.

I use it all the time for stuff except drag. It's a bit off. Guess I get the same answer as last week. Lol.

Why keep asking a question that you know the answer to? Do you think that if you keep asking it, it's eventually going to change?

I never got a break down. Its just Opinion. There is no right or wrong. I was curious of your opinion. as far as a calc. The reason they don't work is because they can only go by peak. When power throughout the band on different engines vary as with torque. And they go based upon generaric weight. For example 2 ls1cars or 2 5.0 cars can weigh the same total weight while one has lots of rotating weight off from wheels light brakes, light flywheel etc. And the cars will run way different times with same peakhp and weight.

This is also why ppl think that lsx hp = ford in the same weight car. Its simply not. Ppl think all they way close to the same and make the same peak power, those cars will run the same e.t. This is not the case. Its so much more than a peak # and weight that gets the car down the track.very common misconception.

Or not all weight is equal? If your saying not all weight is equal I completely agree.

quit trying to twist ****..... Look at my sig dude its a joke

weight plays a HUGE part......Put the 100 pounds = .1 thing is just not accurate there is too many things that play a role into a single pass to say

Well I took this 100 pounds out I'm going a .1 faster next pass.....100 pounds from a Big and skinny set up will net you a lot more than taking 100 pounds worth of stereo equipment from your car...

Since you've asked me a question, let me ask you a question Nate.

Do you think that I am wrong?
