Heh... typical nonsense... The GT stayed with the GTO while hauling the passenger and beat the GTO w/o the passenger... Plus, the Mustang does EVERYTHING better in terms of performance... Heck, the 2005 model ran with the GTO.

Don't forget... the GT500 easily beat it and the 2003/2004 Cobra did too... Speaking of, should we welcome the 2010 Camaro SS to 2003 since it was just about able to keep up ??? That's your mentality... about a decade late and a bank account short...

That's pretty much completely normal, eh? I've only ridden in a GTO and would choose it over any 4th gen and I don't like the view from the 5th, so...

I just ran a full bolt on 6 speed ls2 gto from a 30 roll on highway, pulled a car to 120. He had a passenger i didnt though.

3 way race, 5.0 auto in right lane was a car or two behind the goat.

All my current weight reduction is passenger seat and back seats, so ~50 lbs? I dont have a power passenger seat lmao.

The GTO is pretty fast.... Full bolt on 6 speed 6.0.

Here's him versus a stock ls3 auto vette.

More races of his car

So I guess LS1 F body> LS3 Vette? Lmao doesn't make sense... but that's bench racing for you.

We did 2 30 rolls with same result.

I started in 2nd, he started in 1st.

I pulled a car to 120, then went into overdrive and creeped up a little because his 4th went to 130.... then we let off. But at that point my back bumper was still in front of his front bumper both runs.

I don't really compare any boosted v8 to a n/a v8. But I think it's funny they are comparable. Does that answer your stupidness?

Gto's were nice cars. If they would've been brought over as Chevelles they would've sold a bunch more.

YOU don't get to decide... They were BUILT THAT WAY and the rest of the world isn't going to cry with you simply because your side didn't win.

Besides... GM used a power adder more than once on its version of the pony car and I don't recall you complaining about THAT!

Your quick to talk smack about how the 5.4L didn't make more power than the LS2, but then... It certainly did make more power... but not in your little world because, somehow, you think everyone will simply discount the better build because you're not happy...

By the way, it appears the 5.4L was also offered at 422hp... N/A... look it up.

GM sold every one they put for sale... Surely you forgot to call them to offer your stellar advice...

False. With no weight reduction, I pulled on a 6 speed full bolt on GTO on the highway.

Oh yeah that's a 5.bro in the right lane lmao

GTO honked and did some weird *** 30 roll, I was in 2nd at 2500 rpm and he was in 1st. I still managed to pull him when I got in my powerband though.

F Body>GTO for speed and 1/4 mile capability. End of discussion.

If I had full exhaust and an intake manifold like him I would have been 2-3 cars+ ahead despite starting out of my powerband.

1st gear with a 6spd manual at a 30mph roll? That's not just a little stupid...

We can't tell much from the video, except someone really sucks at that... like most others. It looks like GTO tail lights, but...

The 4th gen is typically quicker and can remain that way with proper mods. It's very close though, and the GTO is actually comfortable and put together with some pride with quality materials.

GTO>F-body in general... end of discussion.

I'm HARDLY surprised you beat one which had full bolt on stuff while you were stock... You seem to beat everything... apparently being VERY good at finding slow cars and/or bad drivers...

What's yours run at the track, 7's?

Have to agree with the LS2 GTO > than LS1 F-Body. My buddies (GTOSPD) bolt-on GTO with some weight reduction, pulls pretty hard up top much more than his recent bolt-on Camaro SS Conv which had more modifications and weight reductions. That LS2 is damn impressive and moves that GTO nicely at higher speeds. Of course this is my opinion though based on having run both of his cars.

Its also not hard to get the GTO down to 3500 lbs in no time. Id rather be a tenth slower than have to drive and get out of a 4th gen again.

Agreed, between the back seats and that huge skid plate under the motor, there is about 80 or 90 lbs right there. Once that weight drops and you get the car to actually hook, it is a completely different car.

So headers/tune F-body can run bottom 12s? As much as I hate to type this, Ju1ce did that in his goat.

Build quality? Poncho
Comfort? Poncho
Engine? Poncho

Sorry for your luck. I don't like the way either cars look, but I'd take a goat. All day, urr day.
