Little late for that with hio in the mix ive mostly been reading. Im just saying this friendly contest is great and all but like you said near the beginning of the thread you agreed to 8th mile times so far you only ran at an 8th mile. I fully understand you waved hammers street run but im sure we can all agree he would have ran a little better at a track.

 

Huh? I ran a 1/4 mile at the track, stock. I agreed to 1/8th because in so many words hammer basically said that's the only way the challenge will even happen. He said he wouldn't take the 305 to the 1/4 mile track because he'd take his LS1. I obliged so we can have some fun even though I like the 1/4.

I'd imagine Snake could improve that time with some seat time in the car. And I'm sure there has been a little performance loss in the 28 years since his car was built. But you know that. And I would absolutely take a car that might be a few tenths slower in the 1/4 mile if I could row my own gears.
The most powerful Camaro was a 350. So again, the topic was 305 vs. 302.

I agree Sean if you hooked you would run a faster time as well. Id still think you would have came out on top regardless for the baseline run.
