Damn it snake, my brother has a set of good condition 1 5/8" long tubes out of his old '85 GT coated with super high heat paint (bcuz race car type stuff) just like the ones in your pic. Except you could've got them for half that cost from me.

Edit: if you're ever in search for a stock 8.8 rear for cheap let me know. I'm sure he'll let that go also bcuz new 9".

Just as a note.. My old AWD 90' Eclipse weighed 3280 with me in it. I did a little bit of weight reduction also.

I'm thinking 2850 or so. I don't have it on the street so it'll be a while before I can weigh it.

I got 3 new parts, a coil and 2 stickers. Since I have been informed (at work) that my car is still an import, I can play by import rules which gives me a .5 improvement in ET.

Coil -.1s + Sticker -.2s (each) = -.5s

Are you going to enter this challenge Hio?

BTW..You mentioned in one of you post that you still had an 85mm MAF sensor on your Camaro. May I ask what injector size do you currently run?

I have maxed out my stock 80mm maf and 24lbs injectors and I am looking to pick up a ProM 85mm maf with 39lb injectors. I was just wondering what injectors you were using with your 85mm maf.

Edit..I apologize for side tracking this thread..

So I see you're also willing to give up the power of the 350 to row your own gears...

Not the 40-50 hp they were giving up in that vid. You're lookin at 10-15hp.

They should be.....although I don't think that car was a 1le. Probably a g92 car though.

Still going with the slower car that has less potential, in exchange for another pedal and the ability to row your own gears. I would do the same.

Pretty well known a 5L g92 m5 car will run with the auto 350. I wouldn't be giving up anything really.
