I'll just leave this here... Spoiler alert, it's a 4.6L 2v that's stroked to 5.0L, h/c/i that puts down 500RWP/470RWTQ. The modular motors, coyote included, don't NEED boost to keep up, it's just the easiest way of getting power.

Slow boosted yet 99% of boosted Coyotes would absolutely yank your car every time.

Not sure how many of you guys were reading this forum prior to 2010, but it wasn't all mustang vs camaro until the Coyote hit the market and all the 5.bros showed up. Sure there was some rivalry with the cobros and people bragging about raping 2vs, but it was nothing like it is now. The whole "you guys started it" vibe coming from the posts on the first page (I didn't read the rest of it lol) is laughable considering where all this stems from. Hint: you guys have been here arguing with the Hios and Hammers for 5+ years.

That's because when the Coyote came out, all the Ford fangirls were like "OMGZ we actually have a car that can compete with 12 year old F bodys now!"

I figured I would squash this one before it goes any farther. Boss 302s DO NOT have twin disk clutchs from the factory. They have the same garbage Valeo single disk made in turkey that comes in every other 5.0.

The twin disk rumor was just another rumor started by early release fan boys. The stock clutch will eventually break that transmission

Remember that time a 4.8 LS motor ran 5s in the 1/4? How about any size LS ?

2JZ FTW!

I could be wrong, but I think that's why it said "twin disk clutch" for the mod list on the video.

Just caught that... in that case. I apologize.

I like the direction the Boss owner is going. Id add a carbon driveshaft and race wheels next. Upset a lot of cars with stock HP.

Yep, similar concept to those "3 mod" cars running 10s. Only count the mod if it gains power. Just say "stock power" in the videos. lol

lol... i dont know what hes running for a clutch. If its a steel flywheel... its likely no faster since there is no weight savings. Just gain the ability to shift the car the way you should be able to stock. My twin disk picked up 12whp paired with the mcleod aluminium flywheel. But that dropped almost 14lbs. It also made it a terrible car to launch on drag radials.

But everyone hypes up every car. Reality is... The Boss and 6th gen SS are a drivers race. Anyone that says one of the cars will definitively beat the other one every time.... is just brand nutswinging. The SS IS faster than the GT however. Cant deny that. Once the aftermarket rolls around though.... it becomes a measurement of who knows how to make a car fast... rather than which car is faster

Im just happy GM finally made a fast camaro again

Nice try Mystic. I'll be the first to admit there are a lot of things I don't know and I'll never act like I do, but I'll always know more than you

Yeah it is, but his black one has a built engine and a glide now lol
oh see I didn't know the black one was built. I did hear its his driver though. kinda cool its still got a back up cam and touch screen lol.

I thought it was this as well although. Boss kept on pulling while the Camaro was see-sawing with each shift.

AFAIK, the only NA LS motors making 1100HP are 440+ cubic inches and an extreme build. Plus that's on an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno.

That video I posted was a very basic H/C/I engine that runs on 93 octane and can be built for around 6K. That's right there with an LS1.
