SBYL

Buddy of mine also picked up 40 RWHP with headers tune, and CAI on his c7. On pump gas

E85 is worth another 25+ over than and the MSD intake is proven to gain another 20

If anything, the 5.0 doesn't respond as well to mods.

I'd be more curious to see before and after track runs with stock 91 and e85 runs.

The dyno numbers can be skewed so much and the ranges seem to be all over the place for the lt1 motor. One would hope they could manage more than 42rwhp with all of those mods gaining 30rwhp tune and e85 alone.

Some shop also did a mild h/c c7 build and only got like 500rwhp. That's cam only ls3 territory.

Yeah, I think on average the 5.0 is definitely the underdog between the two.

Alot of these shops just want to be the first at something.

Yeah, I really want to see more private owners actually get in a 6G and run them hard. Will help me decide if I want to purchase one. We'll see how they hold up these next few years and depreciate. I'm interesting in the A10 and when that might make its way down to the SS. Who knows though as the 8l90 is also used in the higher powered c7z as well

Then you could add a K&N filter for 15hp and a tornado for another 8hp. That would put you over 100hp for gainz...like easy.

I guess this just means that GM really has no idea of how to build or toon their hot cars.

Dyno queens them LT1 cars, then they drop a valve and eat themselves.

LS1 is more reliable.

I don't see where they are dyno queens. They seem to run good for their power. 400~whp or so and capable of taking a nearly 3700lb car to the 11s. That's no dyno queen.

Islander troll is weak. Lets get back to how the 6gen wore out the gt350 at ypur track since your track seems to be center of the universe.

Hahahahaha you got jarred by me so you try and change the subject. You are so predictable.

PS. his best was 11.669@122.85, I gave it more credit than I should have. AND he just dropped a valve. wow!

The lt1 motor failures and DI caking the motor make me hesitant about the 6G
