Is the reason that they designed the 6th gen with such poor visibility is because they figured all the amazing drivers on ls1tech would have the car wheels up for half way down the track anyway after modding, not being able to see **** so what difference would it make? ![The Jester](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_jest.gif)
I know I would.

Anyone watch motor trend on demand lately ?
Guys on camaro 6 are saying on one of the last episodes they let a few things slip.
They been testing the 1le against the gt350r (guess they skipped the regular 350 lol) and m3 gts.
I guess they were blown away by the 1le and that it was matching the 350r and m3 gts in testing.

Several pages with lots of goods rumors and speculation etc. Also nice photos and comments from MT about the 1le. Talk about the motor trend on demand episode also in the thread.
They have a pic with a 1le by a McLaren, Porsche 911 and audi r8 and in caption MT says something about how it belongs right with them.
The 350r is for the z28. I would call this embarrassing if true. I mean what would the ford camp say if a PP add on for a lowly GT was neck and neck with the new z28? Cant even fathom it really...
But yeah its good for both of them...competition breeds success. It just seems like when it comes to handling/chassis tuning etc GM has an obvious engineering edge IMO. Ford is chasing GM in this metric if you ask me.

Would be nice but it's been since the ls1 days that GM has done a power bump. And even then it was minor. Just as likely to throw in new motor IMO. Ls2 was out in 3 years with no power bump. Ls3 6 years no power bump.
The lt1 has a small cam and room for improvement but I'm not holding my breath. I'd love to be wrong but then again a new motor would suffice also.

I will admit, Gm has been pushing a lot of tech first lately. Ford was spoiled for so long not having a direct competitor for the Mustang. Those were great years for business and profit margins when GM allowed them to skate by with the dated 3v from 05-10.
