I think it's a term for when the block isn't removed from the cradle.......not the car but the cradle.
Because you as you can tell from some of your own and others comments that is a big no no.
But then on the other hand a completely sleeved and reinforced block is still a stock block......weird eehh

I got out of it. Plenty of fast cars but even more fast mouths. The group I hang around anymore doesn't have anything crazy. Big block G-body's, V8 S10's, but a lot of older cars being built up by a lot of younger guys I know. Getting into long range shooting kind of put a dent in my budget.

Well to be fair Pray didn't make that term. There are a few vendors such as GPI racing that offer a piston/rod combo doesn't require balancing and why it's classified as "drop-in".

A drop in piston is a thing. Different material pistons often require honing for different clearances. A drop in piston wouldn’t and it’s something most people could do in their garage

Ive heard the term drop in pistons before, just always assumed they meant no machine work was needed for fitment.

“Drop In” meaning you don’t have to pull the motor and rebalance the rotating assembly. Newbs.
Not pull them out of the package and they crawl inside the engine themselves.

I honestly don't care either way. I think its a nice build, I like that its a relatively small blower and makes solid power. I don't consider it the "simplest build ever" by any means.

Why aux injectors over just going to larger ones? I had two cars with aux injector setups and they were a pita to tune. Ended up selling one car and swapping larger injectors into the second one.
