Had the pig at the track... bit more of a learning curve than I expected. Didn't get in many runs due to the way they were running the track (Wife made 2 passes and I got 2 in a 5 hour period)
Launch Control tried 1800 & 2000 rpm... ran 12.1 - 12.0. The launch was odd, yanked hard and immediately spun on the 1-2 shift then shifted to 3rd resulting in a bog every time. My friend had warned me that the track was slippery once you were off the line and I am guessing this was just due to poor prep and being too aggressive on the RPM.
Thats still moving out for a big *** suv. If it makes you feel better my father in law couldnt muster faster than a 12.4 in his Charger hellcat or faster than 12.5 in my mother in laws Challenger hellcat. He got mad when I offered to run a real time in it.

I've heard the other Hellcat variations are a pita to launch without good prep. I’ve only driven a challenger hellcat with the black key (which was boring and easy to drive imho) so I can’t say I know much about it.

Need a proper tire and usually a diff upgrade to prevent it from shattering once you can put the power down.
Spent a bunch of time with a RedEye and we dropped from 11.4 to 10.21 at a track rental just sorting the launch out.

thats a fast ram!! On the street we seem to click off 3.4 - 3.6 0-60s pretty regular (with a really low launch rpm). The track passes were much slower (3.8-4.1) according to the on board computer.

It’s pretty fun for a truck. Hellcat Durango would be really fun. I’m going to have a Hellcat short block installed over the winter and bump the boost/timing up.

Would love to see videos / hear your setup. One of my "worst" memories at the track was lining up next to a Dodge Ram in my stock Z28 (8.5 @ 85mph 1/8th) and thinking I would walk away only to watch it gap me by bus lengths. Something special about a big vehicle moving out. Love it.

I think thats why I miss my Evo so much. Alot of people had no clue how fast they could be and I surprised the hell out of alot of people. Not many people are going to be surprised when the Camaro drags their ***.

I definitely think there is something to that. Now days it's pretty rare to see a 4th gen or Evos driving around and not many people know just how fast those Evos can be (I'm guessing few people realize what a stock one is even capable of).
