Other than that electric cars can be cool.....and fast af. I'm not willing to pay for one yet and they certainly aren't gonna save the environment.

By the way, as much as you hate on liberals. The most liberal thing you can do is make a statement then tell someone the evidence is there, go find it.

He probably held up Black Lives Matter signs too, while wearing 14 masks, with a rainbow shirt on.

telling you to go find it isn't liberal. Expecting me to give it to you after you've been on this site yakkin for years but never paid enough attention to find the truth but yet listen to the bullshit rhetoric.......now that's a ****** liberal.

from what I've seen they run high elevens. Perfect vehicle for someone like you that couldn't turn a wrench if their life depended on it.

Far from the most offroad capable vehicle out right now.

Far from it huh? Let's hear your long list of vehicles that are more capable from the factory then.

FYI mud holes don't always have a hard bottom and this thing would be stuck in the mud in most places. Let me see how well it performs in some wet soft clay or sticky gumbo.

Here's them driving it through the Everglades if you care to watch a 16 minute video. Which I'm sure you don't, because you clearly didn't watch the video you posted.

I'm only a few days into owning it so I'm definitely in the honeymoon phase, but this thing is ******* awesome. It's faster than pretty much any other truck, other than maybe the Hummer. The interior is nicer than any other truck, by a huge ******* margin and the sound system is incredible. It handles like a car and stops like a car. In summary, **** all your trucks.

I would never spend that kind of money to bury something in the mud...and it sounds like Sdub hasn't either.

Anyway, yup it's fast, but how far can it tow 8000lbs? That's what my truck does more than anything. Anyway, my bad for thinking trucks tow and haul - I've submitted a non-binary inclusive petition to have GM change the name of the program in all of their trucks.

I like off roading, but I don't see the fun in just driving through a mud pit. I'm hoping to get the truck out to the local off road park in a couple weeks.

Long distance towing is definitely not what it's good for, from what I've seen 8000lbs towing will only get you about 150 miles before a charge. As far as towing ability, I haven't had a chance to hook up a trailer but with the power curve of the electric motors and the air suspension, they're supposedly awesome at towing.

They are awesome at accelerating, but terrible at range. There isn't an EV truck that has made it 150 miles towing 5000lbs to date, not Rivian or otherwise.

Quads and Side by Sides are way more fun off roading, I will stick to those and tow them in a trailer with my truck, without worrying about 45min-1hr recharge times to go another 70 miles.

150 miles would be more like 100% to 0% which you wouldn't realistically be able to do anyways. I didn't get enough use out of my side by side to keep it. I'm just a couple times a year.

There have been plenty of attempts showing towing almost anything limits range to 100 miles in the best-case scenario. The Hummer might be the only one to go that far due to its larger battery size than most others.

Chitty deal about your SxS, far more fun off-road than any vehicle, but I admit I prefer a quad unless I'm hauling the family around.

new hummer, new bronco raptor, dodge power wagon, ford f250 tremor, ford f150 raptor, zr2 canyon/colorado, jeep rubicon

All have more ground clearance, larger / more aggressive tires, lockers rear some have it in the front also or a limited slip, traction control and more articulation. Which is what makes them do better offroad.

The rivian comes with car tires. That's not gonna get it done when the going gets tough
