That’s amazing. But gapped rings and rod bolts is not SBE. Still impressive but I gotta call it how it is

I race with them guys a couple times a year. I was also at SCSN in 2017 when they got that record. They know their ****.

PS. Alberta FTW!

I have to agree with this as well

You know what would be awesome- if Ford or GM made a budget (option) for forged motor from factory -

I don't think 8 seconds and reliable belongs in the same sentence with SLB from any platform.

Yes some have done it, but that doesn't constitute as reliable imo. Most have had to address a few parts in X engine to make them live for a season. It's a pointless stip. Once you get that fast. imo it becomes very important to build the car properly to handle that power the best it can. Hit a wall at 150+ mph from sending a rod and oiling the tires and I bet you will agree. Hell once you get to that kind of power level even built stuff can fail. In 2019 we have become desensitized to how much power 1000+ whp really is and how hard it is on parts, especially with 3500+ lb cars.

It's a 05 e320 cdi. Great all round car. Rather quick for what it is and it gets 30mpg citi and 40+ highway. I definitely like it more than i thought i would. I even put a hitch on it. It tows the jetski like a champ.

I don't think i said any of that. I would think your new found jesus would keep your dumbass from lying. I guess only the old jesus like i use does that.

Honest question
I'm sure it could.....getting someone to spend the $ to try is the biggest issue.

After none if the boosted 5br0s on here is out of range if a slb ls or lt.

Hell to be honest none are probably out of range from a old sbc or bbc slb. Probably take a good pcm and the right booster.

I view it the same for you. The fact that you have to lie to make yourself feel better is quite pathetic.

Funny how you don't always have to say everything. And you have said lots of those things. I'm a witness, for years, as I'm sure there are many others.

Doug. There is only one Jesus. Keep him out of this. If that's all you have to try & come back at me, I'm done with you on here.

Yea they only made the cdi in 05 and 06. We looked for one of these. Pre def...pre bluetech. Supposed to be a good reliable piece. It's a 1 owner car with 166 k on it when we bought it. It's not perfect but it's decent.

Bluetecs are good as well - DEF is easy to replace with a better unit with corrosion resistant coating or tune out and delete altogether.

HioSSilver you mentioned not being sold on ceramic coatings. Here is how I dry my car. Give ceramic a try after your next paint correction.
