Any of the guys in this video on this site?

Before you ask, I have no idea what the specs on that IS are.

Wow, that video is crushing. Too many F-body deaths. Still, a great video. Seems like the people that made it have things in perspective. Did you notice what they said at the end. Much respect and props to them and that car. That thing was fast up top. I wonder how it would fair in the 1/4??

The IS300 is solid, I will likely buy one (along with a Subaru Brat, hehe) for a commuter car. It handles well, it's nice to drive, and it's one turbo away from being the perfect second car for me. I wanted a used 330, but finding one that's clean & at the right price has not been easy.

the IS, is nothing special, until a year ago it only had a 4 speed auto when all otehr cars in that segment had a 5 speed or the option to go with a stick. o and did i mention that last i checked it only has 200 over rated jap horses, and we all know how the rice rate their ricer mobiles.

The IS300 is just going to be my putter-around car. The only thing it really lacks is power, and that can be fixed with a hairdryer. Everything else is ready to go. It's RWD, the interior is clean & well-done, the handling is great, I love the way it looks, and I can score one for a great price.
Sure, I'd love a 6-series or a 300 or 500 Merc... but I'm going to buy three new cars in the next 12 months, and I refuse to skimp on my wife's car or my C6 'vert.

Ok, first of all.... this guy lives in houston... so we know it is fast
2nd, he has over 450 Rwhp
3rd, he got his *** cracked... but not on video
4th, we had 4 Z06's some vipers a 408 on a 200 pill vette that he would not race
5th, the car is fast, but we had over 10 cars that would crack his *** hard
6th, i hope to god he is back at the next cruise and instead of racing mostly mustangs and bone stock ls1's... he gets himself a real peice
By the way i was in that vid... driving a slow 1996 Mystic Cobra i raced a SRT Viper and got drug so bad... but i had fun cruising at 120 mph!
