It's a pretty bad slaughter in that video, just walks away from the Trans Am. Doesn't make any sense that you would pull that hard unless the T/A missed a shift or something.
None the less good kill, but you should race him or another again, your car should not be able to pull that hard on an LS1.

I did him twice, then two from a roll 50mph(ish) he too was impressed/surprised, he offered no excuses, said he almost had wanted to put up money. His TA is an auto trany. I destroyed an EVO with claimed 25psi. I think it is the power to weight ratio that is working for me.

PS I would be happy to run any one in the Orange Co,NY area Just for fun.
Mostly stock and You wanna bet $$ I got to see under the hood

40-50ish is a dead spot for a stock convertor auto, so I'm not too surprised you'd jump him there, but the pull in the video looks a littly crazy. It was hard to see the launch, you must've wasted him of the line, because after another couple watches it looks like he maintains the distance you put on him from 1-2.
Now to the important part, more pics of your ride and that girl, lol.
I really like those last generation RX7's, not the most reliable design but so incredibly light and relatively easy to make fast with a big turbo upgrade.

Thank You, she is a Hottie and yes my GF is cute too. Sorry not to many pics of either yet, when it warms up Ill take some more.
That is third gear that I really kill him on, when you can watch him get smaller out my back window. Then I went to fourth, and my friend went to the speedo.

I've driven an Rx7 and an Rx8 to within an inch of thier lives when I used to work for Mazda. Your car may be mostly stock, but that one video clip looks like the T/A wasn't even on the gas.
When my Firehawk was stock it would've put bus lengths on your "mostly stock" RX TT.
There're no other races shot on that clip. The guy probably had a bad start or had it in reverse!- and you just just kept on going and posted a video of your "kill." There's nothing you can say to make me think you pulled an LS1 like that on a fair race.
Nice kill.

NO WAY a intake and exhaust ( guessing this means a DP as well ) 3rd gen can pull like that. ****, I've owned 13 Rx7's. My last one was a built 87TII, I had the motor ported and the stock turbo, FCD, 3"dp and 3" single exhaust. I SLAUGHTERED 3rd gens. Until you bump the boost, or get some porting done its prob a low 13 sec car. my buddy trashed a LS1 Z in his 3rd gen, but he has a T70( i think ) singe turbo and its putting like 500+ to the wheels ( all tricked out too, scissor doors, tvs, body kit, etc )
That being said, that guy in the LS1 cant drive his car, missed a gear or something. Again not bashing the rotors, I've been a member of Rx7club.com for years and years and my wife now hates Felix Wankel and his cursed motors, but :
a) that was a crappy race and should be run again
or
b) you're not listing all your mods

I would love to run another TA or a Firehawk, I would like to do one with comparable mods to what I have, to keep it interesting. In/exh/ECU in the above race, Ive since added a aluminum SMIC and an after market fuel pump and stage 3 window tint. The smic is shinny but I dont know that it does anything in the 1/4, probably helps in a longer race.

I think your car has a ported motor! Anyways get rid of the stock twins the cause alot of heat and are bad for the motor. Singel setup would be even better since those cars have cooling problems belive it or not.

Look everyone, an imaginary race> Motor is all original with 72K on it. I am too poor to go single or anything else, but I do need to do the clutch and while enough HP in never enough, I have not been beat yet, well, not in real life
