type R integra???
What would it take for a Integra Type R to be in the 9's in the quarter?? The reason I ask is because my brothers friend just bought one that he says is making 550whp and running 9's. He says it doesnt even have an after market turbo and he is gonna be putting a much bigger one on soon. Then he says he will be making around 700whp. This seems crazy to me. And if its true, more power to him. Just would like to get some of your guys input and see if you think this is possible.

Doesnt sound realistic to me either. Ricers say the funniest ****. Swore to god a buddy of mine was spraying a 500 shot. LOL And theybelieve it to this day without ever asking us. So your buddy could have gotten bad info.

He meant the 'neins', which is German for No, can't do it.
These are the same guys that add all their liitle parts plus the fantasy car that they just beat into an unbelieveably high (it's like they are bullshitting) HP number. You know... "14 litttle marketing ads times 20HP each ... a 280HP increase! Oh my God I am running 9's (in theory), without even running 11's or 12's!!!"

thats kinda exactly what im thinking. but i want to inform him without making my self look like an ***, and telling him his car cant do that. i think he is paying like 25 grand for it or something. i couldnt imagine getting traction in a front wheel car with that much power unless you have gigantic drag tires.

Basically, it takes a racecar to run 9's...tranny, rear end, safety equipment, power,
racegas, big ******* tires, big power, etc.

Guy here had a Honda hatch that was putting 650 to the ground and only weighed 2200 pounds and he would run 10.6s @ 140 mph. To run 9s in a fwd car is going to be really hard especially with only 550-700 hp. Hes full of it.

it would be possible with 550whp ina gutted type r, but why the hell would someone buy a type r and the **** up what honda does for that car( really nice n/a track worthy power) specially by pulling the motor and putting a gsr motor in it..which doesn't make sense anyways. ******* morons go and screw with a nice car.
ps.... more than likely if he is refering to not even having a after market turbo...which would be infering that his **** came with a turbo to begin with..i'd think he wouldn't have enough knowledge to run 9s.
