Default C6 Z51

Well you guys tell me what you think. I consider it a kill. Anyway i was on my way home from working the italian festivle with my brother and as i pull out i see a nice black Z51 vette. So i pull up by him and downshift i notice the light up ahead is turing red so i just pop in in nuetral. Im in the middle lane and the vette is right next to me. Im watching the cross traffic light turn yellow and gettin ready to take off. Bang our light turns green and we go i jump out about 1/2 a car lead on this guy and shift to 2nd he gains a little back on me during the shift so i assume hes an auto or just a really fast shifter. As i wind through second his bumper is at about my passenger door. And i slam into 3rd his nose gains up just a little more im still about a 1/4 of a car ahead of him and he lets off i think maybe do to a car in his lane. Im sure if i would went to 4th we would have been dead even and then he prob would have taken me up top if there was more room. But since he let off and i was ahead do u think i should credit myself with the kill??

How did you know what suspension it had?

I vote a kill... great job, it doesnt matter that he was gaining he gave up....wouldnt of counted if you gave up ahead of him with him gaining.

I vote kill. You beat him to the speed at which you let off. A Supra would win every time vs. a cobra if the drag strip was long enough...(both cars built...) Yeah, you won the race, didnt say you were FASTER, but you won the race, GOOD KILL!

at the light i noticed teh cross drilled and slotted rotors hence Z51 package. I work at a chevy dealer also. But thats the easiest give away its a Z51

I agree once the 410s go in i think i should have no problem taking a new C6 but there so hard to find one to race down here they are all old guys or hott *** girls like the lady i saw today driving on my way to work.

im really drunk anyway but ya my mods are full bolt ons except for cam and heads and headers i have everything else.

only the Z51 package gives you the drilled and slotted rotors along with a bunch more **** its not bad considering the package is $1700.00 almost everyone who gets a vette gets the package

Just a FYI for yall..Z51 C6 Vettes have drilled rotors... no slots..and if you saw a Z51 badge on the car it was put on there by someone with ricer tendencies that owns a Vette..

Yeah, I've never heard of "Z51 badges".

I say Kill. Your talking the top of thrid for the let off. And thats about near the end of the strip. And he let off anyway. Nicely done. Really goes to show how strong those things are in stock or near stock form.
