It seems pretty close to about 90, then he starts to pull.
What is your gear ratio?

I found that to be pretty impressive against the almight LS1.
And the exhaust on that LT1 did not "fancy me" any.

Dont know that throwing your camera man out would have made ahuge difference unless he's 300 plus. Good video for sure!

he obviously has a decent lil power advantage by the way he pulls you... but you launch a lot better....

the passenger was just a joke, lol.
he defientely has a power advantage over me.
aaron i would get more if more people would run me. there are 2 guys in town with 01 WS6 6 speeds, i have tried running them over and over. they wont run me though. one of them is in the C6 vid i posted. i think they are scared of losing to an LT1, so this mornin i talked to one of them and told them that they should beat me by 3 car lengths. that is what i have gathered from LS1 guys on here recently, but he still declined.

and burn u dont like my exhaust is what ur implying? seems everyone else compliments it. too loud for me, gonna change it soon.

Actually thats the thing, it isnt loud, it just sounds wierd. Since you have full bolts ons, I'd go with the Loudmouth II. It has a muffler and more back pressure than the Loudmouth I, and with your mods should sound just dandy .

Im not implying nothin.
oh, and you didnt answer my question. What gear ratio do you have?

Good death. The LS6 cam is peaky, no gain below 4000RPM but +25rwhp/+12rwtq @ 6200. My previous Camaro had one and the cam almost had a turbo-lag feeling to it.

Do you have some high rpm misses going on occasionally? I've noticed something in your other videos too, when winding out 3rd I've thought I've heard it missing a couple times or something in more than one of your races. Just my imagination or have you noticed it as well?

oh yeah,it misses alot over 4k. car feels like it stops, then pulls again. i am thinking it is the opti, but am not sure. it happens alot after my low coolant light comes on in the dash, and that is usually when the car is at full temperature. but i dont see how them are linked together.

thanks for the comments

If you plan on keeping the car you might want to explore other distributor options. I replaced 4 opti's on my T/A in 6 months. Just a little advice.

learning to properly install the opti goes a long way in making sure you don't burn through them on a monthly basis......but yes there are definately better options than a stock opti out there.

Your probably right. The mechanics that did all the installs probably did not do it right. I always thought it was the location and design that caused them to fail. Shows what I know.

check and make sure the o2s are hooked up. my camaro was doing the exact same thing and what had happened was one of the wires on the o2s came off.

while this is so, The LT1 guy is a better driver, especially out of the hole. The ls1 is clearly quicker, it wouldn't of mattered from a roll point. It's pulling him quickly. Now a cam in his LT1, it would be a whole different game.
