vette,911turbo,nsx-r,evo7, ferrari Jsut wanted to share some vids I found and get your opinions as to why the vette came in last.

It appears the corvette is bone stock, the Ferrari was worked over, the 911 TT is simply in a different league than the C5 base mode, the NSX-R is very comparable to the c5 on paper, but superior dynamics show their merit at the edge, the GTR is AWD and similar in power, the EVO VII was a bit of a suprise though.

No need for the thread to go further.
I don't know why theyd used a z51 instead of a z06, unless if this was pre 2001, but I believe a few of those cars are 01 or newer. Oh well.

Beacuse it is a base model C5 vs a bunch of cars pretty much built for road racing. Put a c6 Z06 on that track ans watch ALL those cars get raped, in fact a c5z06 might even to the job. Lol ur just always looking to start ****!

I think everyone is getting tired of every LSX owned saying...."yea but the C6 Z06 will beat it".
Thats becoming everyones response to an LS car getting beat.
I think I made a fair and unbiased conclusion.

I'd be more interested in seeing the numbers w/ the same driver in each car w/ a fair amount of time in each to get a feel for the track and each car. Number one I think the Ferrari should have done significantly better. Same kinda feeling for the Vette, didn't look to me like the driver was too comfortable w/ it. Whoever was driving the EVO was doing a great job IMO, I'm quite surprised it was not out run harder by the cars in front of it.

Thats just an excuse. It has more power than the evo,nsx and skyline, plus it cost more.
Hell I could say the same thing about the evo. They should have tested the fq 400.

lets compare 4wd cars to a rwd vette on a really tight roadcoarse, lol. The NSX is one of the best handling cars out there. Like I said, put any z06 out there and it will run with and beat those cars, and cost less than most of em too.

Why do people get mad when you hear about the results. Hell it the vette would have won, you'll be saying the opposite. Face it the vette lost, cant compete with stock 4cyl, stock skyline, or an nsx.

Just saying, the c5 z06 is usually the car compared against the ferrari 360 and the 911 turbo. Having said that I still think the c5 should have done better, no neccessarily won or even been anywhere ahead of last, but that gap was way big.
